this will be the first time I’ve been alone with the triplets for more than a few minutes. From the moment they were born and I woke up in the hospital after delivery, he’s been with me every step of the way.

“Yeah, I’ll be okay. If I need anything, I know where you’ll be. I’ve got the formula in the diaper bag, bottles Quinn went out to get for us, and water all in here,” I murmur, trying not to think of the bitch Malice told me they put in the shed for hurting my babies. I nearly went nuts at the hospital when he’d told me. I swore I’d kill her, but Malice told me he wasn’t gonna have that stupid bitch’s life marring my soul. That day he promised me that stupid woman would pay for what she tried to do. But not until the club found out why. I agreed with him on the condition that he not keep anything from me.

“Alright, if you need me come get me,” he mutters quietly before leaning into me once again to give me yet another heated kiss, though not as long as the other two were. “When I get back from church, I wanna do more of this.” With that, Malice leaves the room, making sure to kneel down in front of the triplets to press his finger to each of their noses.

Oh boy.

My heart flutters even more so and I’m looking forward to him coming back as I form a plan to make our make-out session that much more enjoyable for him and me. The thought brings a smile to my face and I’m excited to make it happen.

Chapter Eleven

Malice

I didn’t want to leave Willow and the triplets alone in the room after getting back from the hospital. Unfortunately, we were having church to find out what all Cy knew so far about what happened. My gut churns at what he might have found. If this had anything to do with my parents, I’m going to go berserk.

Entering the room we hold church, I find everyone already waiting for me to come in the room. I grin at the sight of Hammer holding his son, Tate.

Go figure Prez would have his kid in here with him. Shaking my head, I head to my seat. Once seated, Hammer bangs the gavel down on the table, causing Tate to stir in his arms.

“Prez, gotta say you holding a kid is a strange sight to see,” Dagger snickers.

“Fuck off. Avery needs some rest and I’m giving her that time while we’re in here. Now, Cy, give us an update on what you found,” Hammer grumbles.

“From Bambi’s phone records, I was able to trace the numbers back to who they belong to. One of them being Malice’s uncle.” I fuckin’ knew one of them had to be involved. “The other number that was called more than the others belongs to a man named Mario Rivera.”

“Who the fuck is that?” Axe sneers.

“Mario Rivera is another member of the Supreme Masters. He’s also Bambi’s stepbrother, from what I’ve found while looking up information on her. Stupidity on my part for not looking further into her. Which I won’t be doing again,” Cy mutters irritably.

I know he’s probably pissed with himself not looking closer into the woman, but I know for a fact it won’t happen again. It’s why he asked that all the clubwhores be kept in their rooms until we knew the rest were clear and not compromised.

“So do we know what Bambi was doing for Rivera or my uncle?” I ask harshly.

“Bitch hasn’t said shit yet, but we’ll get her to talk,” Hammer growls. “Ally is on the way.”

Nodding, I lean back in my seat and look around the table with my arms crossed over my chest. “There’s something not right here,” I say right out.

“Got that same feeling,” Bruiser mutters from his seat.

“There’s more to what’s going on.” Axe nods.

“Agreed,” Hammer puts in.

“Wesley told me that Willow’s mother was gonna sell her to these men to pay off her and her loser of a husband’s debt. I wonder if those who she’d planned to sell her to have a hand in all of this,” I state, sitting forward once again, bracing my elbows on the table with my hands clasped in front of me.

“What do you mean?” Gunner asks, brows furrowed in concern.

“What if those men from back then were the ones to try to have Bambi kill my kids. I wouldn’t put it past my uncle to try something like this. He’s pervy at best and is one hateful fucker. What if it was him that was trying to buy Willow? And though my parents would want the triplets with me out of the way, I wouldn’t put it past my uncle to kill them. Means he keeps his money longer,” I mutter, thinking of my grandmother’s will. She’d had it set up that her grandkids would get the money that belongs to the family. I’m the last member of the family alive that’s her grandchild. Now that I have three kids, that’s more people in my uncle’s way.

Fuck me.

Why didn’t I think of this shit sooner?

“Are you sure?” Hammer asks, patiently letting me have time to figure shit out in my head.

“Oh, I’m sure of it,” I mutter and look to Cy. “Can you pull up a will that belonged to my grandmother?” I ask, giving him her name.

She might have been a vindictive piece of work, but she’d felt something for her grandkids, considering her sons took after her husband and became horrible people. The woman couldn’t help but be the way she was in the world she lived in.

“Yeah, give me just a moment to pull it up,” Cy grumbles, getting to work on his computer.

“What about Mario Rivera?” Bruiser questions, bringing up the other part of our problem.

“I’m wondering if he’s related to the cunt who caused problems up at Stoney’s charter.
