different way than a co-worker. She was too focused on the mission to think about these things. Stopping to think, it didn't seem like such a bad idea. She did not find Dijo as beautiful as Dommerick; however, he had his own charm and now she began to find his green hair strangely attractive.

β€œIt's just... you know...” continued Nervous Dijo, β€œI've always lived with older people and never... I've never had anyone like that...”

β€œI can see,” said Evelin teasing the boy, β€œI don't think I have the head to think about these things at the moment.”

β€œOh, yes, of course, it makes sense.”

β€œBut...” Dijo's heart began to accelerate when he heard the word, β€œafter we overthrew God, I think we can go out.”

The young man tried unsuccessfully to hide the smile from his face.

β€œOh, of course, great! Well, you're the one who's going to have to decide the place because I don't know much about the city.”

The girl smiled at him and agreed; then Dijo said goodbye and ran down the hall, calling for Willys.

The night before the blow, Sorom couldn't sleep, kept struggling in his bed until he heard a knock on his door. He stood up and opened the door revealing a smiling Golbert with a bottle of wine in his hand.

β€œWhat do you want?” Asked Sorom, without patience.

Golbert was coming in and with his huge body Sorom had no chance of stopping him.

β€œI knew you wouldn't be able to sleep, so I brought this to help.”

He opened the bottle and offered it to Sorom.

β€œDo you think drinking before a mission is wise?” asked Sorom.

β€œI think it's better than not drinking. Now let's do it.”

Sorom took the bottle and took a sip straight into the neck. The two sat on Sorom's bed, which leaned a little with Golbert's weight.

β€œAre you nervous?” asked Golbert.

β€œWhat do you think? How are you so calm?”

β€œOh, I'm not calm.” said Golbert taking a big sip on the wine, β€œI think I just disguise better than you.”

β€œWe are going after the man who destroyed our childhoods,” Sorom said. β€œIt was horrible for me and I imagine it was much worse for you.”

β€œYou who had to live with him since you were born.”

β€œBecause of him you turned your whole body into a weapon... so you can help me...”

Sorom lifted Golbert's sleeve revealing the scars of the various muscle grafts he made to become the giant he was.

β€œYou have always been very skinny,” Golbert said. β€œYou needed someone to take a weight.”

β€œYou didn't have to do any of that for me...”

β€œI didn't do it for you, I did it for us. For Norna, Willys and Dijo and all the Chaos Agents.”

Sorom took the bottle from his hand continued drinking, showing a sad countenance.

β€œThank you anyway, without your help I would be another bandit from Iguana Street.”

β€œDo you really think that?” Asked Golbert. β€œIt's what I think I would be without you.”

β€œMaybe it would be the two of us without Norna.”

They both shared a laugh and then the silence took hold. Sorom took another sip and realized there was nothing left.

β€œWe drank it fast, huh?” Commented Sorom.

Golbert waved and took the bottle from Sorom's hands.

β€œSo, in less than 20 days, will we have the lives we wanted?” Asked Golbert.

β€œYou never told me what you planned for later.”

β€œMy later is to stay by your side, encouraging you.”

Sorom punched the giant in the arm and rested his head on his shoulder.

β€œHe is fine,” Golbert said. β€œI know he is.”

β€œI'm not so sure,” Sorom replied, β€œI don't know if it's good to think about him, I have to focus.”

Golbert got up to leave and gave a slight snare on account of the wine.

β€œDon't forget I'm here for you,” said the giant.

Sorom stood alone in his room and even spent several minutes sitting reflecting on the next day.

General Sorom

Evelin was with the leaders of the Chaos Agents inside Rinlojm. The mood was tense with the only sound being the moving of Dijo's fingers on the screens of computers.

β€œI can only fool their radars for a while,” Dijo said. β€œTheir robots seem to have had an upgrade too; it will take me a while to hack them.”

A few more minutes passed and Norna landed the ship.

β€œThis is as far as I can go,” Norna said. β€œGood luck to you.”

Evelin descended along Sorom, Willys and Golbert, seeing another series of ships landing on a plain. The sun shone brightly in the sky and you could see in the distance a metal construction.

Jamin and Sliger were on a small ground transport, with a cannon pointed upwards.

β€œTime for chaos!” Said Willys jumping on the transport and pressing a red button.

An explosive was thrown up and the group began to run towards the building. When the projectile completed its parabola, they saw an explosion at the base.

Evelin had her machine gun prepared and Sorom ran by her side with his hair stuck behind him and the sword handle turned into a pistol.

Willys kept shooting and the group ran with adrenaline screams. They heard alarms and soldiers were in a defensive position, but a group of them were hit by Willys' mortar making room for the agents to invade the base.

The place was huge, with several hangars covered, a spacious training camp and the main building with the cannon at the top.

β€œInto the hangars!” Cried Sorom in the communicators of all. β€œQuick!”

Sorom entered the first of them and noticed that it was completely empty which caused strangeness at first, but then turned into despair.

β€œGet out of here! It's a trap!”

He barely had time to say that and the hangar blew up. Luckily, they hadn't entered yet and the casualties were at minimum, with Sorom being thrown a few feet back.

Two more of the hangars blew up, and now he only was seen two in good condition. He was afraid it was more explosions, but they needed a place to protect themselves.

Meanwhile, tanks and heavily armed soldiers approached, and the Chaos Agents exchanged fire.

β€œWhat are we going
