looking who was calling, hoping that I might get some news about Kazan. Which I did definitely. But little did I know that I was about to hear something which I had never expected.

β€œHey, Sam.” I heard Jenny from the other end of the call.

β€œJenny? Yes, what happened?” I asked, keeping myself as calm as possible, even when I knew how impatient I was becoming from inside with each passing second.

β€œUmm... Well, I think you need to come here, Sam, at the club, where I work.” She said while her voice appeared a bit hesitant to me at this instant.

β€œWhy? Is everything alright, Jenny? Did Kaith do anything wrong?” I enquired worriedly.

β€œNo, no. Everything is fine with me. But I was worried about someone else, actually. I think you better come as quickly as possible.” Jenny replied which made me even more anxious for some reason which I did not know yet.

β€œYes, I am coming.” I rushed to get my bike without wasting a single second any further, as something inside me kept telling me the whole time that whatever I was going to find next, would not be any good at all.

β€œBut, Jenny. You must tell me at least, what is bothering you? Who is it about?” I asked right after, while getting on the bike only to turn my wheels towards those darkest streets of our town.

I knew what happens there.

And that was why I was afraid to find out what I might have to go through in the next moment, without much of my choices.

β€œUmm.. It's... It's Kazan, I am talking about. He is here.” Jenny's words shook me completely. I had never imagined that I would get to hear about Kazan in this way.

β€œWhat do you mean?” I freaked out.

β€œI mean, he is here, Sam. And he kept getting himself drunk since he arrived.” That was what I heard from Jenny before I hung up only to speed up my bike to reach the club as fast as I could.

Episode 43

Summer's P.O.V

I was standing in front of the entrance of the night club for quite some time.

No, it was not that I was not allowed to get in there, like before. But the reason was only me this time, and there is no doubt that I was afraid to see whatever was waiting for me behind the door of this club. Even though I rushed here with just one phone call from Jenny, while I did not think much about what I was about to face next, my legs were like not at all willing to move forward even for a bit, when I was already standing at the destined place.

It just needed a few more steps for me to get myself into the club, but that was what I just could not compel myself to take due to some unknown fear.

I had never realised before coming here that I would be hesitating to go inside, in such a way. My heart kept pounding inside my chest like some crazy. Blood was already rushing inside my veins faster than ever, causing me to sweat even in this chilled dark night.

Life had always been so cruel to me before, and I was scared tonight to get totally ensured that it would never cease to be the same to me ever for the rest of my life.

And I was indeed lacking the little bit of courage to take just a few more steps.

But even after all these fears, I knew that I had to do exactly what I came here for, in the first place. I knew that I had to go in...if I could not gather enough courage for me, then I had to be brave enough for my mate...for Kazan who was now breaking into pieces, only because of me.

I pushed the door open and let myself in, thinking about the one and only person right now, who needed me tonight. Yes, for Kazan.

The loud music, soon, engulfed me ever so mercilessly while the flashing of different lights deprived me to see others properly. The place was completely crowded where each and everyone was busy with their attempts to pleasure themselves, in their own different ways.

The dance floor was full tonight, as people had already involved themselves in some kind of crazy rhythm like every other night, only to move their butts along with the girls who were clinging on them totally.

Drinks were everywhere, and so were the drunkards.

The club appeared to me like the very representation of the mess in one's life. The had no rules, no boundaries, and nothing to regret when they were here.

Night indeed gets alive in here but in some kind of brutal way. Men become the beast and never hesitate to prey on some innocent. Yes, this place seemed exactly like that to me. The burning hell.

I did not stop to look around to find the only one for whom I came here rushing. But I just could not get to see him yet, cause the place was huge and the crowd was enormous.

No, my eyes could not find Kazan, but it did find the one who called to inform me about him.

β€œHey, Summer. Here. Over here.” As soon as my eyes met hers, Jenny waved at me and motioned me to go to her. She was busy serving the drinks to others when I first spotted her among the crowd. But now, as I still could not get to find Kazan, she was the only hope for me right at this instant.

So, without further ado, I approached her while shoving the people aside a bit to make my way to her.

β€œWhere is he?” I asked impatiently.

β€œUpstairs.” She replied quickly and pointed her finger at someplace behind me. Since I came here, I could not
