βOkay.β With that, I did not wait for any more second and turned to get myself up to the first floor hurriedly.
My heart beats kept increasing with each of the steps that I took, enclosing the distance between me and my mate. Still, I did not stop at all and kept climbing the steep stairs. The music started to fade away bit by a bit as I kept getting close to my destination. The increasing intense smell of my mate kept assuring me that I was going on the right track, for sure.
And at last, I came to stop in front of a closed-door and I knew that Kazan was behind it, for sure, as the smell was telling me so.
But my heart sank all of a sudden when I heard the shrill voices of some girls from behind the door as well. Their laughter appeared ever so menacing to my ears as if they were trying to snatch away something which belonged to me...which was always meant to be mine.
I flung the door open violently without wasting any more time as I was in no mood to wait for my heartbeats to rise and my blood to rush due to some fears.
I was mad.
No, actually, I was becoming completely insane due to the extreme rage which I could feel inside me right now.
Just when I let myself in through the doorway, a few familiar faces appeared before my eyes. I saw Kazan, but he was not alone. Jeremy and Markus were there too, and so were some girls whom I had never seen before.
Kazan was sitting at the furthest and loneliest corner of the room, with a glass full of beer in his hand while a few more empty glasses were lying here and there on the table in front of him.
And Markus?
Well, he was sitting at the exact opposite of Kazan while all he was trying to do was to stop Kazan from behaving like such.
And I just could not figure out from where the girls came from but they were pleased enough to accompany the boys ever so willingly while Jeremy seemed so into them.
βWhat are you doing here, Summer?β Markus stood up from his seat with wide eyes just when he realised that it was me who dared to interrupt them in between whatever they were busy with.
I noticed that Kazan saw me too, but he stayed the least bothered about my presence right now.
βYou tell me. What are you all doing here? Would you not introduce me to your new friends right here?β I gritted my teeth unconsciously as my eyes did not fail to see that the girls were now opting for Kazan to linger on. And Kazan said nothing. He just gulped down the rest of the beer, keeping his stern eyes fixed on me.
Why?
Why was he doing this now?
What was he trying to get by driving me crazy with such insecurity?
What did I do?
I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry but the pathetic thing was that I just can not do whatever I feel, not now, not before, not ever.
βSummer, you are thinking it all wrong. They came with me. I mean, when Jeremy called me and informed me about Kazan, I rushed here instantly to take him back. But, you know, people kind of know me here a bit. So, I ran into them coincidentally just when I got in and they came up here along with me.β Markus tried to ease the moment for a bit by telling me what happened actually, but it seemed that nothing was meant to work on me right now to calm down even for the slightest bit.
I can understand that the girls came with Markus, but how can I overlook the sight before me when I could clearly see that they were all over Kazan right now, and Kazan was not at all pushing them away.
He was enjoying it?
Really?
I could not help but scream at last.
βGet lost.β I came to stand in front of Kazan in no moment as I was desperate enough to break each and every hand which would ever try to touch my mate.
βWho are you to tell us what to do, you bitch?β One of the girls dared to say without even realising that what could cost her for such bravery.
βI will surely let you know who I am.β With that, I moved fast only to knock her out but I could not. Cause, a ferocious voice stopped me from doing so.
βMove.β Kazan growled, at last, keeping his gaze fixed on me, still. As if I was the reason for his broken heart. As if it was me who betrayed him first.
But little did I know what was going on inside his mind right now. Cause, just when my heart was already at the verge of shattering into pieces once again, assuming that he did not want me anymore, he moved his eyes away from me at last, only to burn the other girl with his fierce gaze.
βI said, move. Take your dirty hands off me, right now.β Kazan did not wait any longer to jerk off the hands just before he stood up finally, leaving the girls utterly shocked with his sudden move.
βKazan, I...β My words stayed back at my throat as I could not say any further but Kazan did.
βI do not want to talk to you now.β He said and made his way out in an instant
