SCARLET MOON
Under a scarlet moon
I kiss my love's brow as she lay's at peace.
Forever in this heart she will remain,
As my thoughts drift to the heavens.
I see her face among the stars
Smiling Down On me.
Whenever I feel lonely and sad,
A wind whips up my hair and warms my heart.
The breeze whispers my name and I know that she is here,
Chasing away my pain and making me glad.
A promise kept under a scarlet moon,
As i fall into another world
My love returns to me.
FRIENDS
Friends are for life
friends are forever
friends keep you going
when all is not well
But you friend is the one
you can tell almost anything
my love is good
my love is true
for my friends
my love never ends
Even when they're happy
or when they're blue
cos' you're there for me
and I'll be there for you.
GLESGA
Oh dear, dear Glesga
the city o' my birth
where the ships from all countries in the world
used to come up the Clyde with they're cargo's
and sail away again,
O dear, dear Glesga
with your Charles Rennie MacIntosh
and your friendly people
with your wind a howling
and your never stopping rain,
Yet I love you.
let Glesga Flourish
the beautiful Glesga cathedral
and the babbies from Rottenrow
all these places you can tour in one big go.
From George Square to your beautiful parks
Parkhead to Ibrox and back to the Clyde.
It makes me sad because now there's nothing there,
But we will remember you.
God bless you.
