THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

In the forest lay the roots of love and peace
In the river that falls into the valley that opens up
Our eyes to the after life
Is this the Garden of the Gods?

The stars shine high abve, leading the way.
Up ahead I see a beautifully coloured bridge,
with shining stars proceeding along
To the giant doors of gold

These are the souls crossing into Heaven.

I am home at last.....

Glory To Valhalla!!!

THE GOLDEN FLAME

Shine o' golden light
Please guide me through the darkness of The night and lead me to golden harbour
of Asgaard,

The Garden of the Gods.

With your flames of golden light take me to within sight of the place that is to be home,

I have come with my heart so brave and true
I have come to give my life for you,

ODIN: Yes Indeed you are so brave
And I will give you what you crave,

A Battle for eternity.

THE BURNING BOAT

The burning boat ascends into glorie
heading to the light
A beacon in the night,

Gone from sight but not from heart
your battles will pass into tales, songs and poem,

The Skalds will speak of a Legend
A mighty warrior
And a King of his people.

Go now take your journey to

Valhalla

Be at Peace in the garden of Asgaard.

SIGURD'S MEMORY
(The Battle of Largs)

Under darkend skies they crash
through the rough Northern Sea
towards an end that ony time wi tell,

Far from home and further they go with their Jarl Nijord's blessing and a raven upon their mast.

Onwards through the winter winds they go
to the Scottish Island to the west,

Arran from where the mainand will fall.

Across the water our destiny awaits,
many ships lay waiting for the kings command to attack!

But on the eve of battle they drink
they celebrate and they give sacrafice to Odin that he may grant them victorie in the morn.

But a storm was brewing, the winds wiped up a fury and many ships were lost.

What Devilery is this?

My brother Sigurd lost,
he will forever lay at rest in lap of the Gods.

And as the sun rises Haakon King gives his command and we make sail for the mainland.

The storming of the beach, the clashing of swords,
The shattering of shields

The flowing of blood!

The shouts, The Screams, The battle cries
they bring charges,they bring fear,

THEY BRING DEATH!

BUT NOT VICTORIE!

Too many were lost, we must turn back,
we must retreat to island to the water

To our Homeland!

They're warriors were Brave
they were eager
they were ready!

Back to our ships
with what few us that were left,
to return another day.

AS FRIENDS!

Our glorius dead
taken by the Valkieries to
the hallowed halls of Valhalla

Where they shall fight forever more.

Under The Raven Banner

Under the Raven Banner, the warriors gather.
Waiting on the crack of lightning to signify the thunder of battle.

Many men lost their lives under the cursed banner.

For those who died, the gates of Valhalla will open, the hallowed halls will echo with their laughter.

Under the cursed raven banner, Sigurd the Stout did fall.

At the Battle Of Clontaff, where all was lost.

FEAR NOT MY SON

COME HERE MY SON
LET YOUR FATHER SEE HOW STRONG YOU HAVE BECOME..

AH!! YES....YES,
FINE AND STRONG YOU ARE .

YOU WILL BE A WARRIOR KING, BUT FIRST YOU MUST MASTER THE SEA'S
AND RULE THE LAND,
OUR PEOPLE MUST NOT BE AFRAID TO LOOK TO THEIR KING IN TIMES OF TROUBLE.

THEIR GIFTS OF GOLD AND TREASURES WILL NOT MATCH THE GOLDEN CROWN THAT YOU WEAR UPON YOUR BROW. THE GEM SHALL BE THE NORTHERN STAR WHICH SHINES WITH ALL THE GLORY OF ASGAARD IT'S SELF.

YOUR QUEEN WILL SHARE THE SAME BEAUTY AS OUR GODESS FREYA.
SHE WILL GIVE BIRTH TO THE NEXT KING TO BE, WHO WILL RULE WHEN YOUR WARRIOR LIFE COMES TO A BRAVE END.

AND THEN MY SON WE SHALL DRINK MEAD,SING ABOUT LEGENDS AND BE MERRY
IN THE HALLOWED HALLS, IN THE AUDIENCE OF LORD GOD ODIN.

FEAR NOT MY SON OF DEATH,

FOR IT IS A RELEASE FROM PAIN AND SUFFERING
GAINED IN BATTLE

AND GLORIFIED IN

VALHALLA......
