“My Talent”

My talent is writing poems.
This is nothing that I created on my own,
But, a very special talent in which came
When I was born,
Most of the words come from something I feel,
Or what God himself reveal.
The words can come any second, hour, day or night,
And so very often they sound just right.
This is how I choose to express myself,
Hoping one day to be in a book
Upon someone’s shelf.
So if you love poems as much
As I do,
Let me know and
I’ll see what I can create for you.

“A Star Was Born”

A star was born when I became a
Semi Finalist.
I got to express what was
Really on my mind,
And now this star
Can really shine.
My expressions are
Read all over the earth,
Now everyone can experience
What has given birth.
No longer do I keep
This talent to myself,
It is now displayed upon the
Library’s shelf.
Even if I don’t win,
The journey has just begin,
And I hope it will never end.

“Love”

Love is not a dart game
In which you can take
A lucky aim.
Love which involves God, Commitment,
Honesty, and Trust,
This is a must.
Love is not “I Love You Today”
And “I Hate You the Next “
Love is however very perplexed.
So what is this thing call Love?
It is a fantasy come true,
Just maybe it could happen to you.
