The smell of the rose
The simple rose is the most beautiful sight,
In the summerβs light it is my delight.
It aids in my fight,
To stay in the light.
My Teenage mind cannot find,
A better kind,
This simple bud cannot be beat,
It represents the summers smell,
It is the gem of nature canβt you tell?
I live for this as each drop of dew that fell,
From each little petal
