Preface
Prophecy always involves some kind of communication with the future or with different realms of existence, which are usually not discernible by or in harmony with empirical science. Therefore, skeptics consider prophecy to be false. Believers, however, claim that prophecy is possible through supernatural means, which bypass the natural laws.

'The America we Knew'

I think we have known for quite a bit,
without the word of a great prophet.

If it's to God,
we give a hand,
trying to make it to the promise land,
then turn our backs on our fellow man.

Different in religion, different in taste,
somewhere up above he must think what a waste.

Nobody lives above sin, and Temptation.
It's not a small quake, it rocked the foundation.

There's misplaced hate, rage with a gun.
Try to understand that was someone's son.
Death is forever, not just for fun.

Symbolic signs tell us the truth we don't want to hear.
The destruction among us, but god still we fear,
because we might not say it, but the end is near.

The war in the holy land has became today,
the global confusion extends to the USA,
somehow it seems like it's always been that way.

'Anarchy'
Desperation has consumed us all,
dare you ask if we might fall,
we have no structure without the law.

The law is like the people it protects,
they rape you of rights, just not using sex.

Depression, makes the hungry man steal,
if you've ever been hungry trust me you will.

Guns solve the problem at hand,
no remorse for our fellow man,
or the pride we have to protect this land.

We all serve a purpose in this life we lead,
confused, redirected, and filled with greed,
never quick to think of what others need.

He got bullied at school today,
so tomorrow he blows that kid away,
he never heard someone say

"Hey son, I love you."

That's probably all they had to do,
but his parents are too busy just like you.

Striving in the harshest of time,
not to leave behind a dime,
we move without talking,
walking the line.

He didn't need your money,
which is kind of funny,
because in your life,
it never rains, it's always sunny.

He needed a coat to fight the cold,
there was a time that won't be told,
a story that will never be sold,
sent off to Vietnam, drafted in the days of old.

Someone's mom needs a friend to confide to,
bruised and battered she wants to tell you,
she's not sure what you could do,
it would make her feel better to know you knew.

Somewhere there is a child who is not OK,
parents can't afford the medicine to make it go away.
There is a stack of bills they know they can't pay.

I do fear the end is near,
crime does the time,
Then life is over here.

"Rage"
The feelings inside,
With no place to hide,
so the time you bide.

Somehow looking to be rectified,
repressed feelings, but you tried,
to be a bit more dignified.

You really hadn't picked a side,
something made you terrified,
inside, your soul died, and you cried.

While they knew it was a lie,
but never wanted to be crucified,
away with the wind, away with the tide.

My eyes open wide,
anger is justified,
it's all chalked up to pride.

"The Strike of Mother Nature"

Everything seems worse these days,
somewhere in Alaska the H.A.A.R.P plays.

The ground shakes below in Haiti,
everyone went crazy,
ripping the the debris saving the babies.

Must we ask the question, knowing the answer is a lie,
The truth is they don't care, they'd let you die,
the proof is in the way we help our own, makes me wanna cry.

I want to believe we care about each other,
I want to know the higher power isn't Big Brother.

Warming the globe,
the different lights in in the sky,
and some strobe.

Lightning strikes down on earth,
we strike back and, make it worse,
burdens we bare, from her curse.

Somewhere in the sky tonight,
hell on earth and, you know I'm right.

There's a war in the holy land with no end in sight.

"The Sun is Shining"
The morning is bright,
somewhere in the night,
the dream came into sight.

The pillars were large in size,
escaped the night, with a surprise,
they came in disguise.

For a moment in time we were close again,
I walked the land, thinking is this Heaven?

I want to tell them how much I miss them in this life of mine,
then the circumstances prevent it,
words I can't seem to find.

No worries here, this is the other side,
the place people end up who tried, then died.

Touched by the light, I open my eyes,
then realize,
I wasn't really with on the other side.

With hollow eyes I look into the past,
Under great remorse, I come to you at last.

There is something not too far away,
that something with change the day.

Anticipate the future with all it may do,
listen to the past, because it's important too.

There are things I have known,
there were ideas that had grown.

Configuration of the plan that became another,
eerie feeling deep inside about my brother.

Were does the happiness come from,
is the a place to retrieve some?

From green to cement the world has become a technology pit,
If all that technology was gone, we couldn't live with out it.

We have trained our thoughts to be a certain way,
broken pieces of memories that all we have today.

Where tomorrow will go,
I don't believe we really know.

"Profaned"
They make no mistake,
do not hesitate,
to relocate.

The effects are damning to societies fall,
portions of our nation left to make the call.

The beginning of times brought the end,
young, dying, but still trying to win.

Young, afraid, and willing to pay,
there sent into to pave the way.

Freedom has a price of men,
they're sent into wars to win,
fractured feeling from where they've been.

Homeland is free,
but still we,
want to be,
the definition of superiority.

"The Distance of Time"

There's a line drawn to show,
you the way to go,
so if you didn't know.

Mapped out for you to find the way,
to make through to a brighter day,
paradise of love and, we want to stay.

No more running in fear through the dark night,
there won't be no wars, because we know how to act right.

If we find our way, with it mapped out,
through the depths of hell, I wanna shout,
not truly understanding what it's all about.

I wonder if it's hell where we are,
I wonder if heaven is beyond the stars.

It's really all there for us to know,
read the words slowly, then decide which way to go.

"Remember Me"
Remember me when the times are hard,
Remember me as a friend,
Remember me and, the things that I told you,
Remember me when when the rain falls,
Remember me when the world stops turning,
Remember me if the wishes come true,
Remember me because- I will remember you.
