Sky.

Endless blue sky                                                                                                                  .

I often wonder...

if you also gaze at it

and think of me.

I have done so ,

ever since we met

I have paid my toll

at the house of love,

bought the ticket

to reckless passion

and also fierce longing.

I have vowed unto myself

to honour my part of the deal.

The sky is merciful,knows all

and judges no one.

Missing you.

 Lost in shadows of love,

  tired of searching,

lost in a vortex of longing,

used to everlasting yearning...

I go through the empty house

of my tired feelings,

I cry out your name

in hallways of despair,

I extend my hands in the fog

of a dark, fated night

only to fall and rise again,

drawn to your easy-going smile,

Around the house, the garden waits,

I only have to walk outside.

Alone, I tread upon an empty path,

I feel  in myself the cold of the night,

life without you is the night of my heart.

Love.

Love, love for the smile,

that you once had for me.

Love for the pale skin of my desire,

Love for all of you, body and soul.

Love for the softness of your skin

and the force of your demands,

Love, the one that changes all,

puts me through pain and time.

Love, that kills me slowly

and yet gives me life

Love that binds and holds me,

and yet flees from me,

without looking back...

Love shall find me waiting,

standing on the edge of time,

seeing you again and again,

with the eyes of my heart...

Pas dΒ΄deux

This strange dance we started,

going astray at times,

this quick step of yours

that makes me hurry and fall

this smile that drives me on,

disturbs my peace and quiet,

laughs at my writings and books,

mocks my desire and daunts me,

your stride that is always firm

my steps that refuse to falter...

It is a pas dΒ΄deux alright,

with dancers well rehearsed

by partners that claimed too little

and then, masks gone, too much...

Night.

The night of my heart,

the cold chill of your silence,

the words unsaid, the sudden parting.

You took away my life with you,

I am but an empty house,

with silent rooms and long corridors,

untrodden garden paths

and not even an echo of your voice,

to keep me alive through time...

I am an empty house,

with doors that open to the cold night,

with veiled windows locked shut

to keep away the sun...

with gates under lock and chain,

to keep everyone outside.

A house with covered mirrors,

a house with no lamps,

a house that waits for its owner

should he ever come back...

Just love.

Just love, there is no time for more,

love till you burn yourself in it,

love till your heart just goes,

love, there is nothing else.

Love, let things come and go,

love, your heart knows the answer,

to questions, you donΒ΄t even know.

Love will not betray you,

love will stand all, love is eternal,

never mind the faces it takes

in its search through years and days,

Love, you just canΒ΄t do otherwise.

Mirrors in the dark.

Mirrors in the dark,

shining against themselves,

in a room long deserted

in a house locked to all

save its gone master.

Mirrors in the dark,

shining despite themselves,

waiting in the threshold of time

for a glance, a step, an echo.

Just mirrors rejecting covers,

fighting for some light,

waiting in the darkness,

reflecting empty scenes

rituals of old times...

I go through the house

and see them every day,

they feed me the images

of our lives through time.

As a priestess of an old temple

I light one by one the lamps,

I see to beauty and detail,

even if I see no one.

The house waits for its master,

my soul burns in the lamps.

Shades.

All the colours in the rainbow,

all the shades we create,

all the lost tones and echoes,

melt in the clouds of time.

Stories of forbidden passions,

memories of lost loves,

desires that bloomed and died

hunger and thirst in the dark.

No lights are needed here,

no music and no sound,

memories keep flowing,

defying decay and death,

blending in time and light.
