Claudine

Parading in regal dress made of patterned voile, sweeping, warming the ground with each footstep she takes.
Yet pallid winter is unwilling to release us from her icy grip, and tries to hold back the symphony of hues.

Soft whisperings remind her to take to flight; go unnoticed.
Claudine blazes ahead, ushering winter with her silvered robes to another hemisphere where she can cast her arctic spell.

There is a transformation happening. A new birth.
Trumpets should be heralding the event.
Proceeding her are all manner of birds, proud to be part of her entourage in colors so vibrant and alive.

Her tapered ears so sensitive to the tiniest reverberations.

Nature has liberated radiant butterflies and they fill the air, seizing their universe.
Spring's intoxicating perfume wafts all around.
The pleasure of the heavenly blue sky has returned in an extension of daylight.
The majestic trees are starting to spread like giant umbrellas.
