Black ink sprays fourth from an octopus,

Man, I really pissed it off,

It lands on the smooth edge of a huge white ship,

It turns into a bunch of jumble,

Letters and numbers I'll never understand,

I'm sitting in a ninth grade algebra class,

Praying; Lord, just let me pass,

The alarm goes off on my submarine,

I'm running out of air and it's filling up fast,

Oh, wait, it's just the bell,

Hey, there goes the football team,

I feel the impact as my vessel hits the bottom,

And I know this is the end of me,

Oh, wait, it's just Mrs. Lee,

"Sorry", I mumble as the world turns to jumble,

That's it,

I'm drowning now,

"Hey, no harm, no foul",

I see Mrs. Lee walking away from me,

Just as the world goes dark,

That's it, I'm gone now,

Farewell and goodbye,

But wait,

What's that sound?

A buzzing fly?

CLEAR!

I'm in the back of an ambulance,

They're telling me I collapsed in the middle of the school hallway,

I look down at my hand and I have to stifle a laugh,

The octopus is on my finger,

It's a polished silver ring
