“Winter Kingdom”
The ice castle stands upon a mountain’s edge
It is filled with unworldly knowledge
The king and queen upon their throne
The whole world they think they own
The price and princess spoiled yet giving
They wreak havoc on the living
The subjects all pallid and pretty
Some are even itty bitty
Frost fairies I think they’re called
They look so sweet but prepare to be mauled
So vicious they are with their razor teeth
So bizarre with their talon feet
Crazy with their beady white eyes
Always flying high in the frost covered skies
Scary yet charming
But only to be alarming
To those on the outside
Those in the warmer skies
But loyal they are to their king and queen
Never to be seen
Or heard by the common mortals
All the winter subject come and go only in winter through their portals
They thrive on winter light
And the coldest nights
They live on frost and snow
It’s all they know
For they live in scariest place of all who have gone and come
The winter kingdom
“The Frost-bitten King”
He is pallid and handsome
Yet so gruesome
His eyes are made of ice
They are never sweet or nice
They fix you with a ruthless stare
One you cannot bare
His touch can freeze any mortal solid
The very thought is morbid
He looks like a stone
He looks frigid to the bone
His icy stare,
His stone like hair
His frozen face,
His frosty grace
His silence feet
His razor teeth
These things show
His unearthly glow
Where ever he touches it freezes over
Every surface with an icy cover
His smile is predatory
And his claw like hands tell the stories
Of those killed by the king
He is a god among his people
There is not a couple,
Who would stand against him,
And his almighty kin
And here is the thing
He is the frost-bitten king
“Lady Winter”
She is the queen to stay
Stuck in her own way
The queen of the cruelest and most vicious
Friend to the most carnivorous
Where she steps the ground freezes over
Every flower with an icy cover
She is deceiving and conniving
She is always lying
To get what she wants
She is on a power hunt
She wants to rule the months and season
With only one intent and reason
To kill all in her way
And rule away
Though she may be beautiful
She is ruthless and evil
She cares for no one but herself
And she needs no one’s help
To rule the world
So spread the word
She is the queen
And she is a goddess like being
She fears not the death
Of the living for she is in eternal health
She fears not what the people say
Because she is here to stay
With the king by her side
She has no reason to hide
I’ll give you a hinter
She is Lady Winter
“The Frozen Prince”
The young man always in the back
Waiting silently to attack
He stands like a frozen sculpture
And circles like a vulture
He is handsome
Yet fearsome
He smiles like the cat smiles at the mouse
For you are in his house
He fears you not
For he will never get caught
If he kills you tonight
Or even in the light
For his father runs this kingdom
So come and challenge him, come
If you dare
He will not care
He fears death not
Because he cannot die, not him and his lot
His very breath freezes the air
And he has not a care
He has not emotion or feeling
For that was the dealing
Forever to live
But no emotion to give
That is the way of his people
Do all the evil
But never feel sorry or feel bad
All they do is smile, the smile of the mad
So hence,
The fact that he is the Frozen Prince
“The Icicle Princess”
sits there in the tower’s window seat
And looks down with a frozen heat
She smile that demonic yet angelic smile
The smile is so vile
You have to turn away
And you have a reason to stray
From your home
You never want to chance being with one of them alone
She is graceful and lovely
And so heavenly
That people dismiss her horrible qualities
Her winter abilities
She can freeze you with an icy glare
But only if you stare
She is beautiful that cold princess
In her white dress
Her eyes like two icicle spears
They are the object of your fears
They change color with the light
And have no color at all at night
Her lips are those off a dead woman’s face
So blue and pretty, they are quirked at one corner in grace
Her skin and hair so white like snow
But what you don’t know
Is that when she is angry her beautiful pallid face
Turns to a beautiful, demonic disgrace
But all this distress
Is what makes her the beautiful Icicle Princess
"The White Wolf"
This wolf born to fight
Will always cause a fright
This wolf born from the frost and freeze
But never be at ease
The prince calls him to his side
When he wants to ride
Usually white stands for goodness and life
But the white wolf stands for death and strife
He rides with the prince to kill and destroy
The price brings him from the snowy ground
The wolf rises with a mighty sound
He roars and growls to strike fear
He can be heard from far and near
His fearsome sound
Can be heard from all around
The beast's snow like coat and coal like eyes
Show he is full of lies
Where he walks the ground shakes
Every subject quakes
With fear
When The White Wolf is near
“The Cold Season”
The time the winter subjects come out to play
Is on the first day
Of the winter season
With no apparent reason
These portals open to the mortal world
The come through without a word
So quiet yet so destructive
They kill our plants and leaves with their tiny hands so constructive
The frost fairies come first
Then the normal subjects to do their worst
The royals come last to finish it off
They cover all living vegetation with a freezing frost
The king walks the nights every night
Freezing everything in sight
The queen frosts
The very ground she walks
The prince whispers into the air
And it whips around faster and with a colder bite but he does not care
The princess looks at everything in view
And kills the plants right on cue
That little sight
Happens every night
And it happen for one reason
It’s the cold season.
