Her story wasn't untitled for very long. The story is a soft one…..a story about love... A story that began in a sweet little village in a tiny house almost to the point where it was just a little shack. There was a young lady living there. She was nearly a servant, a girl named Alora Jakins who no one cared for. It had happened when she was little... the cutest little girl the town could ever have known.

She was loved by everyone, everyone but one person that is. The village was scared of her...she was known as the witch, because she lived alone in the woods in a creepy old cabin. She had the hair color of darkness. If you looked into her eyes it was like you saw the how she might kill you, which was what the townspeople would say. She had grown jealous of the Alora and her parents. She was jealous because she had grown up an orphan with no one in the world to love her, so she cursed Alora with a horrible spell. The spell that could change a beautiful rose to a sharp thorn in an instant. Alora’s skin was changed from a beautiful face to a broken glass face and one of her beautiful blue eyes had disappeared in a black hole that took its place. When her father had found out what happened to her he had gone to the so-called witch and never came back. Alora cried and cried for days.

The night came as any other day she was playing around in the woods not aware of the women. The women had acted so nice to Alora.

“Come my darling” she’d say “come to my house so your wishes can come true.” without any hesitation Alora followed the women further into the woods and into her cabin.

“What are we doing here?” Alora asked.

“This is where your wishes will come true,” she said with a haunting laugh. And with a flick of a dull pointed stick, Alora fell unconscious and dropped to the floor. When Alora woke up she was in her own bed with the thin covers pulled up to her chest. Alora did not know what had happened for she was only 15 at the time. She got up just like she normally did with the thought of the chores that she had to do for her stepmother. It wasn’t much but she would have to clean the house about two times a day. She walked into the house and started her chores. Her mother was not downstairs for she was not awake yet. She fixed breakfast and got all the food ready and made tea. By the time she was done with breakfast her mother was awake and heading downstairs. Alora was mending the fire when her mother comes to the door.

“Did you fix breakfast?” she said with a not happy tone.

“Yes, I did mother. It’s in the oven keeping warm” Alora said as she turned to face her mother.

“AAHH!” Her mother screamed in terror “What have you done to your face!”

“What do you mean?” Alora said confused “I have not done anything to my face.” She walked to the mirror and she also shrieked in terror. She touched her face, it didn’t feel like skin it felt like glass. Her mother also came over to touch her face to make sure Alora wasn’t playing with her.

Later that night she went back to the women’s cabin to ask what she had done to her face but the house was empty, no furniture, no nothing. All there was was a note on the door that read “I’ll be back” and that was it.

Chapter 1; Him

It took forever for three years to pass at least that’s what I thought. He rode up on his black as night stallion. I was shopping for vegetables for the stew that my mother used to make me. Since my face was merely deformed (as everyone said it was) I wore a lot of makeup, especially foundation powder, and an eye patch.

He got down off of his stallion and strolled toward the little shack that held vegetables. When he stopped, he stood about five feet to the left of me picking up a ball of lettuce in his palms. He glanced up at me, it was then that I caught myself staring at him so I quickly looked down at my feet. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw that he was staring back at me.

“What happened to your eye?” he said raising his hand to my face, “May I see?” I tried to move my head from my his hand but he caught my cheek.

“I don’t want you to see,” I told him with tears filling my eyes. I took off running back towards my shack. I had bought nothing but I didn’t care. When I got to my little shack I lay on my bed sobbing into my pillow.

Five minutes had passed, then I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened it thinking that it was my stepmother but it wasn’t, it was him. He let himself in and closed the door.

“You live here!?” he asked

“Yes. What do you want?”

“Why didn’t you tell me that you live like this!? He questioned

“I’m sorry I don’t go around telling guys that don’t live in town how and where I live! Especially guys I just met!” I raised my voice at him.

“Okay...Okay. You’re right.” He said with a sorry tone in his voice. “Sorry, my name is William Jae. Why did you run away?”

“Because I am not someone you want to be around”

“Why?” I removed my eye patch and saw him jump a little.

“See! You’re frightened of me!” I said tears swimming in my eyes. He rushed over to me and pinned me against the wall. He moved closer and put his lips were on mine. His lips were soft and sweet almost like honey. He snaked his hands on my hips and pulled me closer to him as my fingers find their way into his hair. He bit my bottom lip for access into my mouth which I gave. His tongue explored my mouth. He moved back slowly keeping his eyes on mine. The way he looked at me with lust in his eyes made me want more.

“You are beautiful,” he said with the softest voice. “Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I’ll come back. Okay?” he went back to his horse while I sat down on my bed going over what happened in my mind. I watched him through the open window as he got on his horse and rode off with a smile on his face.  A few minutes later, after I had composed myself, I went to do my chores. My stepmother had given me a list of things from feed all the animals, tend to the gardens. She would also put a specific time I had to have dinner ready by. That night I didn’t really sleep much, my mind was a gigantic blur.

Chapter 2; Morning

The following morning I woke up twice as early to do all of my chores. After I was done I was exhausted and tired, so I thought that I would take a nap. My dream was the best dream I have ever had. It starts with William and me sitting on the beach kissing. His hands are all over me and it looks like he's in love. I woke up to the sound of knocking. I lay my head down on the pillow hoping that my mother who I think it is will go away. Then the door handle moves and I can hear the swing of it while it opens. They walk over to me and puts their hand on my waist making me jump a little.

"Hey, sleepyhead," he said in a whisper and instantly I knew who it was. I turned over to look at him,  a smile was on his lips and it made him look even more handsome.

"I'm not really fond of you at the moment." his smile faded.

"I'm tired," I said sitting up "because I couldn't sleep last night because I was thinking about you." I lightly punched his shoulder as his smile came back even bigger than before.

"Good morning to you too," he said sarcastically. He moved in to give me a kiss but I put my index finger on his lips. He blinked rapidly in shock and somehow filling them with lust.

I smile at him. "Nope, your gonna have to try harder than that." William gave me a smirk. He reached for my hands and pinned them against the mattress of my bed. He moved his lips to mine molding them. I found myself wanting more. He held my hands above my head with one hand as his other moved to my waist. Then soon his other hand moved down to my waist as well. My hands ended up in his soft golden hair. We broke apart to catch our breath not once leaving each other's eyes. The second we took our first breath after the kiss it occurred to me that I was in love with this man.

Chapter 3;

I caressed his cheek with my both of my hands then put them on his chest and push him off. I bite my lip in the process and his glances at them. I push him up against the wall and give him a small kiss. when I pull away his face follows mine like a lost puppy.
