Beginning

“Please? I’m begging. Don’t do this to me?” Desarae flutters her long eyelashes at the man, who just pushed her into a wall of a building.

She was heading to the bus stop to meet someone. Of course she doesn’t know who the person is. And it’s only a few blocks away from the bus stop. So if she doesn’t make it there in time the person will think she stood him up.

, she tells herself.

“Well it looks to me that you want something to happen. According to your body language, you do.” he rubs the bulge in his pants against her waist.

She moans while saying, “Yeah I do…just not from you.”

“From who, then,” he pressures.

“Someone I met on the internet…I doubt you know him.” She rubs her chest against his while he hisses in pleasure.

“I really do want this. I really want your body rubbing against mine. Give me your body.” He pressures her again.

“No-“ She starts to object.

But his mouth is on hers, kissing her not passionately, but lustfully. He presses his body against hers, pinning her against the wall. She starts kissing him back, with enough lust to make him let go of her arms to hold her waist. She wraps her arms around his neck, that’s when she strikes. She grabs a handful of hair and pulls. She also bites onto his lower lip. He curses in pain, while one part of him wants to go one way. And the other wants to stay kissing this super sexy teenager.

Desarae always got the guys attention. Even when she was in the fourth grade! That’s when all the boys started to notice her for her piercing, unnaturally silvery-blue eyes. In kindergarten to the third grade her eyes were weird and uncommon, even spooky to some people. But in the fourth grade her weird, spooky eyes became hypnotic to the boys. Girls became envious and teachers fell in love with her eyes.

Her body is a different subject. The boys started coming on strong when she turned eleven. See, that’s the time she started going through puberty. Boys began fighting over who got her on sports teams. They either wanted to watch her run or be able to get on top of her in football. The couch started making boys play against boys and girls against girls, there was no mix of the genders. The male teachers in her middle school asked to see her before or after school and during lunch. She lost her virginity that way. Girls became more envious in middle school because of her body.

Well, she’s fourteen now and look what a full grown man wants from her. It’s the same with every full grown man wants. Sex! It’s also what every teenager wants. Sex! Or! Just her body! She can’t take it anymore. She will fuck whoever she wants, whenever she wants.

“I said no.” Desarae let’s go of the man’s lip, pushing him away.

He stumbles back a few steps then gets his balance back. His mind is filling with angry thoughts. His eyes lock on hers. He takes a step forward. Then out of nowhere a motorcycle, blue and yellow crotch-rocket, is in between them. The guy on the motorcycle kicks the man in the gut. The man flies into the wall opposite of Desarae. The motorcycle guy holds out his hand like she was going to take it. She just stares at the hand.

“If I misunderstood the situation then tell me. But if I didn’t than either get on or start running. ‘Cause I need to be somewhere right now.” The guy puts his hand back on the handle bar.

She jumps on the back seat. Wrapping her arms around the guy’s waist, she peers over her shoulder to see the man getting up. She looks at the guy she’s holding on to while he revs the engine. Her grip tightens around the guy’s waist. She tries to see the guys face. But all she can see behind his helmet is the outline of his nose and lips. His lips look like they’re battling an urge to smile.

“So, where should I drop you off?” the guy asks.

“Oh, the bus-stop. I’m supposed to meet someone there.” Desarae drags her focus to the road.

“That’s funny…I’m supposed to meet someone there, too.”

Just then several black motorcycles are surrounding them. The people on the black motorcycles are wearing black as well.

“Not them again!” Desarae and the guy say in unison.

“You know them?” the guy asks her in shock.

“Yeah. They attacked me at school. We were eating lunch. Everyone didn’t look at me the same way…”

“Why?” he kicks one of the men who moved closer to them.

“Well…let me show you. Do you mind? I can’t get the men behind us.”

“No. Do whatever you have to do.”

Desarae wraps her legs around the man’s waist. She bends her head to move under his arm. She’s now in front of him. She can also see that his eyes are wide in shock. She moves her hands in a swift movement. Then two hand guns appear in her hands. She puts her arms under his and fires. The first guy to go was the one directly behind them. Then the rest fell behind, too.

“Wow! That was amazing! He told me you were powerful, but not that you can make weapons out of thin air.” The last part was to himself. “So that’s why everyone at your school is afraid of you?”

“That and, rumor has it, my eyes and hair turned red. And I’m talking about blood red.” She makes the guns disappear, then holds on tight to him.

“Really? That’s awesome!”

“Yeah, if you say so.”

He doesn’t ask her to move back. But he doesn’t ask her to stay, either. So she starts moving back. When his arms tighten she freezes. She looks up to see him looking down on her. He smiles seductively at her. She smiles back.

“What’s the rush? Don’t you like the view?” he laughs.

“There’s no rush. And maybe I do. But my guess you’re not going to let me behind you either way.” She pulls herself into him. “By the way, my name’s Desarae. What’s yours?”

“The name’s Christian. Some people call me Chris. But I prefer Christian.” He chuckles.

“Nice name. Some people call me Des or Rae. Some men call me Desire ‘cause they desire for me. Anyway, I prefer Desarae. You may call me anything you like.”

“Oh, really? So if I call you Des then you won’t get mad at me?”

“I won’t get mad but I get to call you Chris then”

“Alright, then. Deal?”

“Deal.”

She thinks about going to sleep, but then decides against the thought. So she just lays her head on his chest and listens to his heart beat. Her head moves in time with his breathing. She feels her eyelids close, then the next thing she feel them slow down. She slides behind Christian before he can protest. He chuckles while he while he waves to the guy at the gate. Desarae looks around to find they’re not in the city no more.

She asks herself.

“So…um…where are we?” she asks.

“Well, while you were asleep…” he stats.

“Damn it!” she whispers under her breath.

He chuckles, “I called someone and he told me to bring you to him. If that’s alright with you?”

The gates open when he finishes talking. They drive forward and the gates close behind them. They stop in front of a big building. She gets off the cycle while looking at the building. The building resembles a castle. There is a brick wall all around the house. There’s also a football field, track field, and a gymnasium.

Desarae looks back at Christian with questions on the tip of her tongue. But they all vanished when she sees his face for the first time. His black bangs in his face, the rest of his hair is red. He has emerald green eyes, full lips, and pink cheeks. Wait, pink cheeks? Then she realizes he’s blushing and she’s staring. She looks away, flustered.

“Hey, Christian, who’d you bring for me?” a voice comes from the direction of the football field.

“Ha! Sorry Sax! She’s not for you!” Christian calls back.

“Well I know she’s not for you! Hey baby, since Christian won’t tell me your name, will you?” Sax jogs up to her with people following.

“Sorry, boy, I’m not supposed to talk to strangers. Come on Chris take me on a tour.” She turns from Sax to Chris. Everyone starts laughing.

Sax grabs her arm turning her towards him. “I asked you a question, girl. Answer it.”

“Hey, Sax, right? Hands off the merchandise.” She pulls her arm out of his grasp. “I already almost got killed today. Don’t push me.”

“Listen to her, Sax. I’ve seen what she can do.” Chris tries to help.

“Chris you only saw a part, not all of it,” she rejects his help.

“I don’t care! You will answer me!” Sax grabs her arm again.

“Ha! Big mistake,” she growls.

She turns on him, grabbing his arm as well and flips him over her arm, on his back.

“If you want more than get up! Otherwise stay down!”

Then out of nowhere a set of arms are around her torso holding her arms to her side. Desarae laughs, closing her eyes. When she opens them people gasp. She slips from his arms, kicks the guy’s legs out from under him. She looks up to see the big guy she flipped over, Sax, on his feet again. His brown hair windblown, black eyes filled with rage, and lips pressed together in a thin line. She gets up slowly, laughing as well.

“I told you to stay down,” she hisses.

“As I recall you said ‘If you want more then get up! Otherwise stay down!’ And I chose to get up.”

“Ha! Brave boy!” she laughs once, turning serious. “The last people I fought didn’t make it.”

She does a back flip over the guy behind her. Sax follows her. She waits then Sax takes a swing. She flips over him, kicks him in the back and he goes flying into the ground. He gets up and charges at her. The fight goes on until she gets bored, which was like…twenty minutes later. She turns around, after a handspring, to find him an arm’s length away. She swings, catching him in the eye. Sax falls, hitting his head on the ground and passes out.

“Sax got knocked out by a girl!” someone yells.

“No! The new girl!” someone else yells.

Desarae laughs, clearly in a better mood.

“I’m glad I wore this outfit today. I would have never done that in my pants.” She turns to Chris, “Sorry you had to witness that.”

“Its okay he always gets in fights… Just not with girls. That was awesome! Oh! By the way, the rumor you told me about is true! Your eyes and hair turned red! It was so cool!”

“Those things change their original color to red because she has the power called Phoenix,” a voice from behind Desarae said. “You are right, Christian, it is cool, but very dangerous. Sax was stupid to push her any farther than she already was. Stupid and very reckless. It’s a good thing she got bored or she would have killed him.”

“Huh…I go mad last time, maybe that’s why the guys are dead now. Ha! It’s a good thing the principle stayed on my side of the story. Ha! It’s a good thing all males in the school stayed on my side. Or I’d be rotting in a prison cell by now. Ha! Dontcha just love mother nature?” Des waves at her body.

A huge cheer breaks loose from the boys. Laughing as she turns around to face the voice behind her. The man is wearing a light gray suit and tie with a white flannel shirt underneath. He has salt and pepper hair and a sweet smile with his black eyes sparkling. He walks
