Vampiress Secret

Chapter One

My breathing was harsh as I tried to find the little bastard. He betrayed the vampire empire and he must pay. Daddy told me to get him and end his life for all the trouble he caused my father for 256 hard years. Daddy tried to accept him but, the guy wouldn’t cope with my father and he found that incredulous. Now, my father is extremely mad at this Raquel Rogers guy. But, if I did have a choice; I wouldn’t kill him. But, I had to. My Daddy is my everything since my mother is dead. I have to obey him to keep him happy and proud of me. His opinion of me is very meaningful to me. I have to keep a high-profile just for him; my father, Quill Joyce III, the King of the Vampire Empire. And I, Utopia Joyce, am his princess.
I finally caught up with Raquel. He was leaning against a tree stump, unaware that I was looking at him. His posture was at ease but, I had to end his life immediately and retreat back to the empire. His long black hair stopped at his mid thighs. His ebony hair had red and gray streaks in them. To me, he looked like a Gothic human more than an old ancient vampire. But, of course like every other vampire, he had that unmistakable beauty. He had a strong jaw line and electric blue eyes. His muscles tensed every time he moved and I must say it was rather attractive. I wondered how he would look if he were a wizard and not a vampire. Yes, wizards lived long but, they didn’t keep the sexy looks that vampires kept. Vampires stopped aging after the lucky number eighteen. Wizards keep aging but, they live quite a long time. I know one with the name of Maxwell, and he is one thousand years old. He had once married a witch and she casted a spell on him as to him to look forever young. Lucky, Maxwell. But, sadly she died many, many years ago, or so he tells me. I shook my head and grew angry at myself. This was why father never a loud me of such mission because I am sixteen years old and very foolish compared to the rest of the empire because they were wise and lived over one hundred years. I would just sit on a thrown and order around a few anonest. It was so boring and all I wanted to do was get out of the damn castle and do some missions. And finally when daddy allows me to go on a mission I’m messing it up with my silly teenage mind. I have to remember that I must keep concentration and to not roam or let my guard down. I have to keep my eye on the traitor and or enemy and make sure they pay for whatever they did to me. Father and his right hand man told me this thousand of times and I’ve yet to learn. Wow, now I know why father kept me trapped in a castle.
I looked back at Raquel with hatred and tighten my hold on the branch I was propped up on. He had no clue that the only vampire human hybrid was out for him. Utopia Joyce was out for him and I can easily kill him. I was like a ticking time bomb and he was the object that was oblivious of the fact that death nears him. I wanted to chuckle but, that will blow my cover. I had to corner this dirty little anonest and move on with my life. A smirk spread across my face as I thought of his different deaths.
I could kill him with my nails; they were as hard and cold as stone and sharp as the stake that can easily kill a vampire. Of course a stake couldn’t kill me, or garlic or sunlight. Sunlight and garlic couldn’t even kill a regular vampire; it was just a silly little myth. My father gladly killed the person who created that myth but, it spread too quickly and now humans stupidly believe it. But, I must say it is rather hilarious to see humans throw garlic at me.
Hmm, maybe I can kill him with my new found power; the power to kill with my mind. I don’t use it often because father says it may kill every vampire or supernatural creature. Maybe I might kill the whole human race also, and kill myself with it. That’s exactly why I can’t use it. My father had tested it on four dodo birds that were kept in his family for as long he could remember. I had thought of a dodo bird dying and when I opened my eyes all four dropped dead. I hated myself for a while after that but, I shook it off as I realized that I was lucky to have a gift and nobody else did. With an inaudible sigh, I finally came to a conclusion; I was going to dig into his back in rip out his un-beating heart; simple and easy. Thinking about that dodo bird incident really brought sorrow to me every time I thought of it. After what I did, dodo birds really were extinct. I sighed out loud and Raquel turned to me and a swift vampire movement.
“I’m guessing the King himself sent you, huh?” Raquel sneered.
I remained silent and gazed at the man. He looked out of place in the mossy forest scene but, so do I and any other vampire who ever existed. Raquel looked towards my direction and crossed his muscled arms across his chest. I highly doubted he could see me in the heavy big leaves of the tree I stood in. I smirked and chuckled slightly. He seemed taken aback by my feminine voice which only made me smile wider.
“Y-you’re female?” he asked incredulously.
He chuckled and raised a brow towards my direction. He shook his head with amusement and shifted his weight to his other leg. “Quill must underestimate me if he thinks my gentlemanliness will get in the way of me killing you. He must be getting more foolish over the years. First, he thought that we actually had a truce,” he paused to let out a chuckle. “And now this; Quill is still as stupid as I left him.”
I growled and stood up straight on my branch. T-that son of a bitch! How dare he talking about my father like that? My father! I will make it certain that his death is painfully, horrible and unbearable! He will deserve it all! My father, foolish? Quill Joyce III and foolish did not even mix nor cross paths. He was the foolish one to think so! I will make sure to explain in vivid detail to my father this anonest’s death! I chuckled darkly at the thought of feeling Raquel’s heart in my hands. His heart will be covered in delectable blood and wet and black. I will step on it and crush it to pieces and leave his corpse.
Raquel suddenly sniffed the air and his smile dropped a bit. His brows rose to his hair line as he went stiff. He stared blankly in my direction and his mouth opened in shock. I chuckled. This was the reaction I was waiting for.
“W-what the hell are you?” he asked through still lips. I smiled and quickly hopped from the branch. He gasped and backed away from me. I smiled and stepped towards him tossing my long red hair behind my back. He still backed away until his back touched the tree he was leaning against. I chuckled and an amused expression crossed my face. Boy, was I enjoying this!
“My father is foolish? Is that what you speak?” I asked with a raised brow. “I-I . . .” he stammered. Jeez, was I really that scary? Of course I knew that answer. Yes, I really was that scary. My red eyes met his blue ones and I cocked my head to side. My long hair fell in front of my face slightly. I wiped it out my face and peered at the man. “You what, fool? Speak to me as if I am your princess not your crush. Tell me now, anonest. Is that what you speak?” I growled. He stood up straighter and towered over me. I didn’t back down. I wasn’t even frightened. He was a tall 6’3 while I was a small 5’4. But, did I care? Hell no! This fool spoke my father’s name in vain as if my father wasn’t the child of Satin. The fact that my father can easily call up his father from the depths of hell by saying a few words, says a lot. I have no clue why Raquel rebelled against my father for so long. Then, when I came into this world, stronger than Satin and even wiser if I ignored my teenage instincts, he still rebelled against my father. What the hell happened to this idiotic asshole that he wasn’t afraid of Satin and me, Utopia? I do not understand. He must explain that to me, and quickly. He needed to be dead before dawn so that I can finish watching True Blood season 1 on DVD before one o’ clock in the morning. So far I got to the episode when my favorite couple was drinking from a vampire and starting doing the nasty. Hilarious, I know! It was funny when he was at work and tried to fight his friends. I thought it was stupid for him to- what? Why the hell am I thinking about True Blood right now? I shook my head and stared back into Raquel’s eyes. I could still see the fear in them even though he tried to put up a bold façade.
I chuckled and laid my hand gently on his neck. I smiled at him and he frowned. “Tell me why you do not listen to my father,” I said sternly.
He focused on my hand on his throat as he spoke. “He thinks he’s so powerful because of whom his family is. I could deal with the fact his father was Satin for a long time and then you came along. So beautiful and yet dangerous; even more dangerous than Satin himself and I couldn’t take it anymore. I knew he would use his newly found power to control more people.” He said. He pressed his hand against mines and looked into my eyes. He smiled and rested his other hand on my cheek. He rubbed his thumb against my cheek and I blushed. I looked down and almost dropped my hand from his neck; almost. Damn those teenage instincts! I knew it was partly because of me being half human but, mostly because I’m only sixteen years old.
I touched his hand that lie on my face and smiled at him. He smiled back with a gorgeous little smirk. He really thought I was a fool, huh? “I may be just a child to you but, I promise you that I am far more dangerous,” I began. I slit his neck with my sharp fingernail and dark red blood showed and started slowly dripping to the floor. My mouth watered at the sight of it. Ooh, vampire blood; yummy. Always such a tasty treat but, once you had a taste of werewolf blood . . . nothing compared to it. I was glad at this point
