“Amelia wake up you need to put your seatbelt on, we are about to land,” I heard Jared say. Have I really been asleep that long? I wondered. Relentlessly I woke up and put my seat belt on. I ran my fingers through my hair and make sure I didn’t smear any of my make up.
“Thanks for letting me sleep on you.” I said being friendly. He’s extremely handsome. Honestly I don’t even miss Nick anymore. Jared seems a whole lot sweeter.
“Anytime Amelia, I hate to ask since we just met each other but do you think we could go on a date tonight? School doesn’t start until next week on Monday so we have five days to do whatever. We are allowed to leave campus on weekends, and before school starts.”
“Thanks for the offer I would love to.” I said, this is going to be one amazing year, but now that I’m starting over with a new guy, I have to remember take it slow. Nick is a bad boy and he waited two and a half years and we were about to have sex but we didn’t. Jared is a whole new guy, no sex for at least a year. I don’t want to be known as that school whore or anything.
“Great, well we should be getting to our dorms. I’ll meet you right here at seven. Make sure you wear a nice dress alright?”
“Okay, bye Jared I’ll see you tonight.” I said and looked at the sheet I got on the bus and walked towards building five. I’m in room number one, and it’s a single room. Wow my mom must have done something nice to get me my own room. Or maybe everyone does. Well I’ll just have to find out. But that’s not on my mind, I have to find to perfect dress to wear tonight and I have to unpack. I have five hours anyway. We’ll see how far I get.
