call, Aisha or Ariel?” I don’t want to lie because I’m already a sinner, but I do love it so much the way my names rolled on his tongue.

“Well, everyone called me Aisha.”

“I would love to call you Ariel then. Is that okay?” I almost collapse on the shed when he flashed me a killer smile that every girl surely scream and squealed to praise his name.

I smiled back, “Sure. Anyway, you haven’t introduced yourself yet.” I paused and almost lost my voice, “Do you even have a name perhaps?” I asked childishly.

He was laughing like a bird chirping every morning, it sounds cool. “I’m sorry Ariel but I don’t have a name.” he winked at me and started walking back to the party.

I stood up quickly and followed him, “That is so unfair! You knew my name whilst you want to keep yours on your own?” I exclaimed loudly that makes him chuckled.

What the hell was he chuckling about?

He keeps walking until we reach the back door. A beautiful young girl walk to Mr Stranger and she clung on his arms. “Elizer, dad was looking for you. Where on earth have you been? Are you lost-…” she cut herself off when she saw me standing behind Elizer.

Elizer huh? What a nice name.

“Hi.” I grinned to the girl who was shocked looking at me like I was a ghost.

She shyly wave her hand to my direction, “Hello, Ms Aisha. It’s a pleasure to meet you at last.”

I feel like I’m a saint or something.

“Thank you! You too.” I awkwardly response to her. She looks so young. “How old are you?” I asked curiously. “You look so young.”

And she looks so cute when she blushes. “I’m 15 year-old, Ms Aisha.”

I groan lightly, “Aisha, call me Aisha. Ms is too formal for me.” I smiled at her and she smiled back, exposing her cute dimples on her cheeks.

“Okay. I guess my brother and I should probably join the party. My dad was looking at him. He thought he ditch us.” She motioned to Elizer’s direction before she continued, “Elizer hate parties like this. He reckons it’s boring and uninterested.”

I was actually surprise of her boldness to her brother. Elizer groaned, “Too much information.” He murmured while he practically dragged his sister inside the party.

Elizer’s sister waves her hand, “catch ya up later Aisha.”

“See ya…” I said waving my hand back.

“Shay. My name is Shay.” She shouted and I smile at her friendly personality.

I wish I can found someone like Shay tomorrow in my new school in France.

Chapter Five - The Electricity

“Where have you been?” my father said, worry was showing on his voice.

“I’m fine dad. I just suffer a bad headache, so I walked in the garden for fresh air.” I smiled assuring him, hoping that my smile is enough to let me stay in my room to rest.

My mum walked behind my dad. I hate looking at them worrying about me, it seems like I was still their child and not an adult.

“I’m fine mum. Don’t worry, I just need a rest.” I assured my mum and she nodded, squeezing my dad’s right arm.

“Okay sweetheart. I’ll call Dina to prepare you a hot bath.” My mum said hugging me tightly. I almost can’t breathe. “Do you need me to call the doctor to check on you?”

I panicked a little. Damn, she really does care about me…too much care. “Nah, a little rest sounds good to me. Thanks anyway.”

I hugged my mum again and dad kissed my forehead. “Goodnight sweet cheeks. Your mum and I love you.” My dad dramatically put his right hand on my face and I almost cry.

He’s such a good actor.

I smiled to my mum and dad, “Goodnight. I love you both.” I wave them goodbye and in a minute Dina was by my side walking with me to my room.

She grabs the door knob and opens it widely so that I can enter the room. I’m too busy to think of Elizer and I completely forgot that Dina looked beautiful in her dark blue knee length dress. It makes her skin whiter than it is. Her hair was perfectly straight.

“You looked beautiful tonight, Dina.” I complimented and she smiled shyly.

“Thank you… prin-… Ms Aisha.” She lowered her head and her hair slide down to her face and covered her eyes. “You look stunning too, Ms Aisha and you’re always beautiful.”

I smirked at her compliment and wave my hand a little before laughing lightly, “Thank you.” I said, “You know, honestly, I don’t think that I was pretty. Well, except when everyone said that I am but when I looked on the mirror and try to judge myself, I can’t spat a words on it. Sometimes I thought I looked weird because I’m a weirdo.” I was surprised to myself that I become too serious about my looks. Hmmm… that’s weird.

“That’s because when you look at the mirror you can’t see yourself.” She muttered and I can’t almost hear it.

“Umm… what do you mean?” I asked seriously like a 5 year-old.

Her lips tugged up a little and she frown, “I’m not in a position to tell you the whole thing and tonight isn’t the night for clue yet.” I am completely lost. I have no idea what she’s talking about.

Maybe she’s drunk. Yea, maybe she is.

Wait… Dina never drinks alcoholic, she’s allergic to it.

Maybe she was just acting.

No, she isn’t… she’s a lovely young lady.

She’s crazy.

Yea, sometimes…

No, all the time. She is creepy.

Shut up!

You, shut up!

Urggh,,…! I’m going crazy now…!

Yea, you’re going crazy now.

Why, am I talking to myself?

Because you’re you!

What?

Never mind…

Hey……

My battle thoughts were cut off when a sound of a vase shattered into million pieces in the floor. I jump up a little in my couch and Dina startled too. She sighed and said the word that added my confusedness, “Ooopss… Maybe it’s time.” She looked at me in the eye and I saw a little change in her eye colour, it has a little white in the side of her pupils. “Tomorrow will be the start of your new life in France. New life means no maids, tough life, heaps of challenges and truth. I’m not going with you in France to help bashing those bitches but you can meet a friend in the campus that will help you to some of your challenges.” She finished with a creepy smile. I shifted uncomfortably in the couch. She cleared her throat and added, “I have an enemy that will guide you to the right path. You’ll meet her in the Campus. Just be careful when you’re around her.” She does some funny faces and I chuckled a little.

“Why?” I asked raising an eyebrow.

She looked at me puzzlingly, “Because she does some stupid stuff. Crazy, stupid and dangerous.”

I’m a little speechless for a moment, so I just make an ‘O’ form in my mouth and nodded my head slowly. I let all her words to sink in inside my brain and I was in the battle thoughts again if, I should believe myself that she was definitely crazy or should I convince myself that she was just stating the truth. Well, except to her so called ‘enemy’ though because I have no idea why she talked so motherly tonight. I was surprised that she talked to me not just 3 sentences but more than a story telling, that dad always did before I slept when I was like 6 years old.

But my biggest question is, “Why are you telling me this?”

She smiled but her eyes looked a little guilty and I have no idea why she acted so weird tonight. “Let’s just say I’m responsible if something bad will happen to you.”

I feel guilty and sad. I’m sure that my father arranges all this and the thing is, I may be a bitch…sometimes, but I hate watching people who will suffer because of me. If so, what if I get hurt? What would my father do to Dina? Fired her? Or even worse punished her; no… I don’t want that. It’s too cruel for my taste.

I smiled to her apologetically, “You don’t have to do this, and I can take care of myself.” I grab her hand and hold it with my hands to assure her that I can take care on my own. Heck, I’m a big girl now; I’m even taller than her.

Dina’s face was change to a strange reaction, “No, you can’t understand! You have to be protected; you have to be safe all the time. Everyone will be counting on you someday.”

My eyes widen, looking at her in horror, “Hey…. Calm down woman. I’m not going to die…well, maybe I am someday… but not today or tomorrow or next week. Just go back to the party and enjoy yourself.” I wave my hand for dismissal.

She looked at me in the eyes and a weird feeling like an electricity rush up to my body and I guess I was shaking because she looked at me worriedly, “Are you okay, Ms Aisha?”

She looked away and the electricity that flows through my body disappeared. Just like that and it was gone. Instead of running and be panic, I walked to her closer, “What are you? I thought you were human, but you aren’t.”

She keeps in silent and walked to the door of my balcony. She stared at the bright moon that lights my balcony. Her hand was holding the silk that hang in my balcony’s doorway, moving along with the cold wind that looks like a wave from the ocean.

The breeze touches my skin and send shivers in my body. She turns her back to face me, “You will know everything if the right time will come.”

The wind opens my balcony door and I heard a noise that was coming from my bath room. I quickly glance to my bathroom and saw Dina holding my two favourite bath gel. I looked back to the door and Dina was gone.

Wow! That is so weird. Two Dina? Cool…

“Ms Aisha, you’re bath is ready.” Dina said. Her eyebrows narrowed, “Are you okay?”

Am I okay? I don’t know. I checked my forehead but my temperature were fine, my hands aren’t pale but my breathing was fast and the beat of my heart thump loudly.

“I don’t know.” I whispered looking to an empty space. My thoughts were running, my heart was beating abnormally, my stomach was growling… Am I going crazy? Or maybe I was just dreaming, but it looks so real, I can touch her hand and it was a flesh, not a fog.

“Ms Aisha…Ms Aisha!”

“What? Did you say something?” I asked her irritatingly.

“I’m sorry…” she whispered, “I was just saying if you want me to call Mr Jacob or Mrs Aila.”

I was thinking for what she said. I really need someone to talk to if what was happening to me but my parents is not included in my list for a moment. They didn’t know about my powers yet. Also I’m not too sure if weather and speed are my powers. I just thought that they are my powers.
