fatherโs curly brown hair and her motherโs breathtakingly beautiful blue eyes. She was smaller than most babies, but you could tell she would grow up to be a powerful, independent girl like her mother.
โWhy not now?โ Venus pulled a chair over from the other side of the wall and looked at me intently.
โWell, I donโt want to bring a child into this horrible world, especially with me in this condition.โ
โWhat do you mean?โ
โI steal for a living. I get food when people out there are starving to death. I would consider it when I get out of the robbing business and settle down with a nice guy,โ I stare at Venus.
โWhat if that doesnโt work?โ
โI would own a book store.โ
โWhy?โ
โFor a chance of normal,โ I shrugged and stood from the chair. I carefully placed Margot in her crib and signaled for Venus to follow me. We slowly shut the door and made our way down the stairs and back onto the couch.
โI am sorry to tell you this, but once you get into robbery you can never go back. It will haunt you one day,โ Venus stretched his legs across me.
โWell it was just a dream,โ I snap. I watched Venusโ eyes grow hurt, but never expressing it on his face, to manly. โIโm sorry. If you had the chance to go back, not to steal would you?โ
Venus stared at me for a while, and then shook his head. โI got good things from robbery.โ
โMoney?โ
โMuch better,โ he smiled at me.
