The Tutor by Jake Walker (learn to read books .txt) 📕

The student shrugged, sheepishly, not knowing the answer. The tutor surmised as much and closed the book.
“You don’t know the answer?” He asked the student, with piercing eyes. The student shook his head, eyes down.
The tutor got up and closed the door of the study. They were alone. He spun on his heel, and took out his switch. The student was already stuffing the sock in his mouth, silent tears now streaking his red cheeks.
“Still no respect for education,” the tutor seethed. He took a sick pleasure out of seeing the student so sullen. Knowledge is power.
