Some say love is instant. Others say it is something that pulls you to the sidelines while you’re playing its game by its rules (in that sense, love is unfair), because sometimes, even if we think we’re doing everything right, we can still learn that we’re not pros yet at love’s game. We’re still vulnerable under that tough exterior we tend to show to the world. The rules change, but we remain constant. So we must adapt to its whims.

Love isn’t always instant. It takes time. Sometimes it’s annoying because we think we don’t need to feel those strong, sweet emotions at that time. It’s so uncalled for! It prods, pokes, and jumps out from behind a corner…
Love desires to tease and it grows on you after a while, because it is good underneath its disguises. It does this so when you finally see it, you know what it really is.

Love envelopes your soul in a blanket of something unbearably deafening in the most pleasurable ways. And yes, love will take care of you. That is, if you let it.
It can heal you from your deepest wounds during your darkest moments just when you thought there was no answer left in the world. Sometimes, despite feeling lost and lonely, its not you who needs to be taken care of. Sometimes it’s someone you least expected needing your love to show them the way. Never take your loved ones for granted because we’re never guaranteed tomorrow.

People come into our lives for a reason. To bless our lives with hope and dreams, to prove a point…and they also leave for reasons too. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for worse…but you never know HOW profoundly your life changes until it happens…
