I pulled into the wide driveway, then turned off the car. The whole trip had been quiet, neither of us dared to say a word. "so you really do love me." he said after a while. His words hit me hard. I opened my mouth to respond but nothing came out. I felt his eyes burning through the side of my head. But couldn't bring my self to look at him. This is your chance speak up angle. Tell hi what you feel I opened my mouth again "Yes. I more than love you. I can't live without you Please don't leave me. I need you Fred." I Leaned over and unbucked my seat belt. I closed my eyes. Then felt his lips touch mine, softly. I wraped my hand around his neck. Our lips moved together. Then i pulled back for breath. Before i could barely catch my breath he crashed back into me. I felt his tounge brush lips. I opened my mouth wider and felt his tounge explode into my mouth. I teased his tounge then pulled back. "We need to get you home. We both have practice in the mornig." I saat there. Listenig to his heavy breath. No, Noo, Nooo. Don't give in. Not yet. You must stay strong. Don't give in to him. Not yet. Not yet. I started the car. Then blinked. When my eyes opened I was laying on my back and fred was on top of me. Kissing me. Roughly. I lost all control and gave into him. I guess i really do love him.
Chapter 5 What's WrongFreds POV
I steped out of the locker room and looked out at the enormus group of people. Almost instantly cameras started flashing and people started yelling. I smiled wildly and waved as i walked through the crowd of people and headed for the bus that was barely visible over the wave of kids sitting on there parents shoulder. the White and blue bus had every window painted with encouraging words like Win, BEat Them, We Are Winners. I dropped my bag infront of the team manager and turned and gave Angle a huge hug. The Manager gave me a lunch sack and i began bording the bus. I froze when I heard a my name from the crowd I turned around and saw my older sister wearing a red summer dress. She had a bright smile on her face, this being her first time seeing me after she moved out. My mom and her got into a really big fight and she moved out. when she moved we stayed in contact with each other but then she never had time to talk or awnser the phone at her new job. "Hey. How have you been." she asked. I opened my mouth to speak and nothing came out. I closed my mouth and tried again. "I'm great. It's been a while. How are you. are you coming to the game." everything spilled out of my mouth before i could realize that i had said anything. "You should get going. I'm great. Ill see you there." her words were barely audible over the crowd. I gave her one more hug and climed up the stairs and onto the bus. I began my playlist and listened to March Madness By Future as the bus pulled away. I closed my eyes and slowly drited into a light sleep.
We pulled into the parking lot of the stadium. The words AT&T Stadium were printed on the front of the stadium. We all filed off the bus and walked into the stadium. The concret under my feet became turf as we walked further onto the feild. "Guys," coach spoke softly and we all turned around to face him. "This is were we win tommorow. The win is yours. You just have to take it before they do." As he said that and we all cheered, the oposing team walked in from the oposite entrance.
They looked mean and rough. Alot of there wide receivers were about six feet tall. One jersey caught my eye. 1. Number 1. Jackson davis. Starting quarter back. Before I realized that I was walking a image flashed of us as kids. Me, Jackson, and Jason. We were standing by old mans creek looking at somethng. I felt a hand on my shoullder, and that snapped me out of my daydream. I spun around and a pair of lips crashed onto mine. almost instantly shocks ran through my body. I somhow managed to pull back from the girl. Angle stared deep into my eyes. "Can I talk to you." Her voice trembled with worry as she spoke. "Yea, one second." I replyed before turning back to jackson. "Good luck Jackson. I want to tal to you later." I spoke quickly and walked over to Angle in the middle of the feild. "Whats wrong. I asked, trying to hide the worry in my voice but failing. "Fred, I have to leave. I am leaving at halftime. I have to move to new york to live with my aunt." She began crying. I gave her a hug and we began to walk to the locker room.
Chapter 6 State!Jackson's POV
(I'm Back. Sorry I stopped writing for a while but i'm back and i'm going to be updating this book twice a week. Shout out to those who are reading this from Southern Illinois University SIU. Thnks for staying with me.)
I walked out to the fifty yard line. I stared up into the stands and imagined all of the people who would be there to watch the state game. Our State game ran through my head. I heard the doors behind me shut and i turned around to see who it was, part of me hoping it was Fred, the other hoping it was Seth. I reconized the figure of fred in front of the dark door. "Hey, why did you want to talk to me in the dome this late." I spoke soflty and listend to the echo of my voice . I threw the ball to him and a image of us as kids standing in his backyard flashed through my head.
"I just wanted to catch up. How you been?" He replyed boldly and fired a rocket pass into my chest. I caught it against my chest and looked back up at him. "HEck of a pass." I coughed out. He soon was standing there. Right beside me. I sprung up. "Lets see how good that pass is downfeild." i handed him the ball and sprinted down the feild. After about forty yards I risked the quick glance over my shoulder. The first thing i spotted was the ball flying high and pretty. a perfect spiral, but it looked to be over thrown. I streched out my long arms. Guessing where the ball would be, but instaed when i looked back over my shoulder i saw that the pas had dropped a few inches. The soft skin of the ball hit my hand. I turned around, in complete shock. How did he throw that pass. When we were kids he could barely hold the ball. Fred had samller arms but he was slightly taller. I pushed all the poweer from my body into my left arm and threw the ball back to him. It dropped about ten yards short and rolled to freds legs.
Freds POV
I threw the ball with little effort. I just waited until he got really deep down the feild and tossed it up. He caught it and i saw the suprise spread across his face. The ball now spun in the air , then began to wobble before finnaly droping about eieght yards in front of me. i rolled to my feet. I simply looked at him. He was jogging back to me. "Im going to get some rest. See you at the game." he said while passing by me.. I nodded and walked to the oposing door and to my car.
When i got to the hotel room, Angle was sitting on the bed. I peeled off the gray shrit i had on and crawled into the bed. She slowly leaned backwards and layed besid me. "I love you." She said. "I love you to. you ok?" i asked "yea, just so confused." At that she rolled over and went to sleep. Seconds later I drifted into a deep calming sleep.
"Lets go get it. We are state champs. We want it more, we will win." Shouted Jason from the other sde of the lockeroom. We walked down the short tunnel and stopped at the exit. We were all jumping and shouting. But the crowd was louder. "And here is your Golden State Bandits" Sounded the man through the booming speakers. At that we ran out and jumped around. The man announced the startersfor us. I had been moved to strong safety because Garret had broke his leg. I had the stenth and hit power to do it. "And here's your returning champions, The Austin Bees" Their yellow and black jerseys sprinted out of the tunnel and the crowd erupted. They definetly had the home feild advantage. Most people in the crowd was here for them. Jason, Logan, and I all grabed hands and began walking out to the middle of the feild. I shook Jacksons hands and said a quiet good luck before turning to the ref. "Heads, Tails. Gold County, It's your choice."
We all looked at each other. "Tails." i shouted so the ref could hear me. The coin landed on tails and we all parted to go our ways. "Coach. We won the toss." I shouted into his ear. The crowd was going crazy. "For this game, we are allowing showboating." said the guy over the Speaker. "Hey,
