This is a story inspired by the my childhood memory. Most of my writing is inspired by how I grew up. I am Hmong American, living in Saint Paul, MN where I've lived most of my life. If you want to read a story about ethnic minority first generation immigrant struggles of trying to make it in America - or want to peer into the life of others, this story is for you. I always seek to provoke feelings with the reader or to inspire.
Life doesn't come with an instruction manual.
What can one do without a family? Mom's face is the first thing to see when one is born. Imagine you lived alone from the age of 10 or 11. And you are now 18 and still living with the family of the father's best friend.
Life is like a thousand piece puzzle and you're just one piece of the puzzle. There's 999 other pieces working in your behalf helping you throughout your life. However, each piece of the puzzle are obstacles, that you must overcome throughout your life. Once you've overcome these obstalces, they'll become a piece of a picture. Once all of these pictures are put together, they'll become one uniquely designed picture created by God.
My pain, my losses, my mistakes my regret. Without knowledge life isnt left with much to go by. So i encourage you to stay educated, stay dedicated and determined to achieve
