“Weak!” He shouted. He then lowered his head and charged at the clones, brushing them off like ants. Jane smirked as he got closer to her. “Why are you looking down on me!” He shouted before gritting his teeth.
“Because you expected a fair fight. All I had to do was delay you until the C & E arrived.” She said before running off, jumping on a pipe and climbing it to reach the roof, making her getaway. Spinebreaker stopped charging and looked around, confused. Then five Swat cars appeared in front of his home, dropping off the government’s mutants.
“This is the Capture and Enforce Squadron. I am the leader, Trigger. You’ve been charged for your mass murder and mass property damage; your sentence is execution.” A man with a rough and scruffy green beard wearing a military helmet and shades that covered the top part of his face.. He wore a plain green tank top which exposed his muscles. He wore green pants with green shoes; a belt wrapped around his waist is loaded with ammo and guns, including a shotgun that he wears on his back. He took the shotgun from his back and pointed it at Spinebreaker.
“You are all weak!” He shouted before charging at them.
“Now!” Trigger shouted. Another mutant dressed in an all-blue latex suit along with whitish-blue hair that was in a hi-top fade, fired off two ninja stars made of ice at Spinebreaker. The parts of his body that made contact froze over, soon expanding all over his body. The black liquid stood up and extracted itself from Rex, shooting itself far from the scene.
“Sir! Should we chase the symbiote?” The iceman asked.
“Yes! You, Frozenstar, and Steel Echo!” Trigger ordered. Frozenstar nodded and ran off to track down the symbiote. Trigger then faced Rex Ford and smirked before pummeling him with shotgun shells. The shotgun shells ripped through his now normal skin, that Toxic made bulletproof while they were infused with each other. Trigger stopped firing and pointed his shotgun up in the air. “Dispose of his body, Kyle!” Trigger ordered. Kyle nodded, complacently. Kyle went over to Rex’s body and dragged it into the swat truck. Trigger then turned around and stared towards the rooftops of the houses on the opposite side of the street. He noticed a faint aura hanging over Rex’s mansion and the opposite house rooftops. “Jane,”
Jane returned to her apartment where she found the projects waiting for her. Once inside, they stood up from the chairs in the dining room. “What happened to you?” Fire Ace asked.
“Where did you go? You left us here with only a plate of wings! There wasn’t any hot sauce!” Ultra Wing shouted. Night Portal chuckled softly. Jane smiled and shook her head softly.
“Have you made up your minds?” She asked.
Fire Ace was the first to nod his head. “I’m an orphan, so I have nothing to return to. I’m staying here.”
“My parents kinda… disowned me, so… I got nowhere else to go.” Ultra Wing said while rubbing his neck out of nervousness.
“S-Same he-here… “ Night Portal muttered. Jane smiled, shaking her head softly again.
“Then once again, my name is Jane Row.”
“I’m Ryan Hell,” Fire Ace stated.
“E-Ellise Ra-Ray… “ Night Portal whispered.
“And the most handsome guy here is Todd Kenworth because I have the most 'worth' here… not a funny joke right?” Ultra Wing joked.
Jane ignored Kenworth’s awful joke, standing up straight. “Great, then your training starts tomorrow. It’ll be time to push your limits.”
