Episode One "Artificial Heroes"

“This is Spinebreaker! Calling all of you puny humans for a worthy foe or else I will exterminate humankind!” Spinebreaker announced from in front of the mayor’s office with tens of hostages inside. Reporters recorded his words and displayed it for others to watch. The president, Will Hoax, stood in front of the room that held a handful of important people. He has a gray beard that is shaped like an upside-down triangle with balding hair while wearing a black tuxedo. His voice was clear and instructive.

“He dares to threaten us? If so, then we must fight back with our own destructive force!”

“Are you implying that we should use nuclear warheads?” One older Caucasian man with balding black hair asked from his front seat at the table.

“No… Spinebreaker has infused himself with our citizens. For that reason alone is why any weapons that will cost human lives are prohibited.” Will stated. “That is why I ask you, my cabinet, about how to take care of this threat.” Nobody responded, unsure of a way that would take Spinebreaker out without shedding U.S. blood on U.S. soil.

One man in the back of the room wearing a dark purple jacket with stitches scattered all around his face looked up at Will. His cap hid the front of his hair and the upper part of his eyes. “How about we create our own superheroes?” He suggested.

“Superheroes?” remarked a woman wearing a pantsuit with black hair that she tied into a bun.

“Will you continue to deny the existence of them… mister president?” The man asked, his eyes glaring at Will.

“Impudence!” shouted the older man. He stood up and pointed his finger at the man. “How dare you talk to the president like that! All you do is run a shady business that provides no profit!”

“Yeah,” shouted another man followed by more people speaking out against the man. The man watched, with a smirk, as he was cursed out.

“Silence!” Will shouted. The room took their attention off the man and focused it on Will. “He is correct. We have ignored the existence of superhumans which resulted in them turning against us. Spinebreaker is one of those superhumans that we could have saved if we acknowledged him, instead of making him feel like an outcast.” He told the room. He then faced the man and bowed his head. “I support your plan.”

The man grinned. “Perfect. The DREAM organization will ship off its first batch of artificial heroes by the day’s end. Projects 'Fire Ace', 'Night Portal', and 'Ultra Wing' will engage Spinebreaker as soon as tomorrow.” He declared.

“But sir! His superhumans are kidnapped citizens-” The older man started.

“I understand, but… it’s our only choice. The DREAM organization will be funded personally by me. We need those projects finished as soon as you can!” Will ordered. The man nodded and stood up from his seat.

The man bowed his head. “I am Lynx, the director of the DREAM organization. I thank you for your support.” He said before raising his head. He then tipped his hat to the president before walking out of the room. The older man blushed with anger, sitting down at the suggestion of a colleague.

“Tomorrow… we’ll see a new era begin.” Will declared. “The era of heroes!”

Three capsules, with human beings inside, were lit up by blue light. The first human is a tan-skinned male with dark red hair that is styled as a mohawk fade. He wore a black plain tee-shirt with a pair of light blue jeans. The capsule has a codename under it, Fire Ace. The second human is a caucasian female with curly dark purple hair that extends to her bottom part of her back. She wore a black cloak with a plain tee under it with black jeans. The capsule has her codename under it; Night Portal. The last human trapped is another caucasian man with straight light blue hair that went over his forehead and over his left eye. He wore a gray hoodie with a black tee-shirt with the words “The Way I Am” on it. He also wore gray jeans that contrasted with his blue hair. His capsule had the name Ultra Wing on it. They all wore winter boots and an identification number on their left arms.

Episode Two "Jane Row"

Jane Row overlooked the DREAM facility with eager eyes from across the street on the edge of a building. A truck roared into the garage of the facility, illuminating its path through the fog of darkness. Four guards protected the main entrance of the warehouse facility and the gate to the garage. Jane Row shook her head as she pulled a black face mask out of her bag and attached it to her face. She fixed her long brunette hair into a ponytail with her hair still incredibly long, even if in a ponytail. She looked at the bottom of the five-story building she stood on. She reached to the back of her hair and pulled out one of the strands. “Duplicate.” She muttered, dropping the strand of hair over the edge. A clone of her appeared from within the strand and noticed the fall, eloquently grabbing a flagpole on her way down. The clone went around the flagpole three times before jumping off and landing cleanly on the ground. “Sneak into the garage and investigate it. Prepare my escape route, as well.” Jane muttered from on top of the building. Her clone nodded, as they could communicate through telepathy that Jane has with her clones, before heading off to the garage. Jane, on the other hand, intended on sneaking into the main facility. She took one step in front of her and dropped off the roof, grabbing the same flagpole that her clone grabbed and swung off it, landing on the ground, perfectly without falling on her face. Jane scanned the area, noticing nobody else in sight, and headed to the main entrance, sneakily. She made it to the main entrance and used the fog of darkness to sneak past the four guards, who were armed with assault rifles and flashlights, by sticking to the darkness that she lived in for two years at that point. She couldn’t flip the latch that opened the door, instead choosing to climb up to a window over the door that she carefully destroyed with the help of an invention. A small screwdriver-like device that can be used to break into a building without alerting attention that she called the “Stealth Intrusion Device” or SID for short. Once on the other side, she attached a sheet of cloth to the window to block off the light. She then dropped to the ground without making a sound. She looked around and noticed that nobody was inside aside from a few overworked scientists.

“Hey, Cam! Why are we doing this again?” One of the scientists asked.

“Because we need to get the projects done by tomorrow or else Chicago will be destroyed by that Spinebreaker fella,” Cam responded, another scientist wearing the same lab coat, but younger than his colleague. He looked to be in his twenties who wanted to fit in with the others based on his speech.

“Spinebreaker huh? I heard that he used to be that pro wrestler… man what was his name… Rex Ford!”

“Rex Ford? You serious, Mason?” Cam asked, perplexed. “I can see that, for sure.”

“He has the same physique, but the only difference is that grey suit that he wears.”

Cam shook his head. “Yeah, it’s surprising to see how strong he is now. He leveled the Willis Tower with one punch and was able to defeat the midwest’s best weapons.”

Mason shook his head. “I doubt that he’s as strong as a nuclear warhead. The only reason that he’s still alive is that he won’t let us evacuate the state nor could the surrounding states handle the dust and debris that the warhead will throw towards them.” Mason commented. Jane Row appeared behind the scientists and hit them in the back of their necks, knocking them out. She turned around and scanned for a light switch. The scientists worked in darkness with only the glow of their computers helping them. Jane Row found the switch and flipped it, sparking the lights. She scanned the area, seeing the cloth that she taped up on the windows to block off the light as well as three capsules in the middle of the room, standing horizontally. She dashed to the capsules and looked inside, seeing three humans. She looked down at the labels of the capsules.

“Capsules mature in darkness. Ensure that capsules remain in darkness for its maturing duration.” She read aloud to herself. “Projects Fire Ace, Night Portal, and Ultra Wing.” She grabbed her SID and cut an outline of the thin glass that trapped the people within their capsules. She did the same for the other two capsules. Once that was finished, she reached back and yanked out two strands of hair. “Duplicate,” She told the strands; which they complied to. The strands burst into two clones of Jane. “Help me get them out.” She ordered. They nodded and grabbed the kidnapees. “I need my escape route, #1!” She told the clone from earlier through telepathy.

She waited a few moments before the sound of cars exploding alerted the guards and drove them away from her. Jane Row smirked as she carried Fire Ace while the other two clones carried Night Portal and Ultra Wing. They walked out of the main entrance as a truck roared through the gate, crushing a guard in the process. #1 was able to steal a truck and pick up Jane Row and the other clones, #2 & #3. The real Jane Row got in the driver’s seat and as she drove away and, with all of the clones inside,  whispered the words “Disintegrate.” The clones slowly disintegrated, leaving nothing behind in the process. The kidnapees that she saved were in the back of the SUV in the trunk, unconscious and unaware. Jane Row peeled her eyes off them and onto the road. “Spinebreaker? He will destroy Chicago? I’ll like to see him try.”

Episode Three "Decision"

“What do you mean we lost the projects?” Lynx shouted.

“Sir, the warehouse was broken into by a mutant. With the lack of light, we couldn’t see the culprit.”
