Episode Eight "They Will Fall And We Will Rise"Issac ended up following Weasel to the target’s estate---a large two-story mansion perched atop a hill overlooking the sea. Weasel stopped ten feet from the entrance to the estate. He turned around and faced Issac, his face being masked by the darkness of the night. “Your targets are inside. Don’t mess this up. We have many assassins waiting for your results.” He muttered before walking off in the opposite direction of the main entrance. Issac ignored him as he masked himself in darkness, using the scattered shadows to check the perimeter of the estate.
Unfortunately for Issac and the guards, the noble family hired a highly talented mage that detected Issac’s presence. “Assassin! Assassin! Assassin! He’s inside the perimeter!” He croaked, igniting a fire in the guards. The guards were split---half of them protecting the perimeter while the other half-flooded into the mansion, barricading the entrances and alerting the noble family. The mage erected a barrier to protect the mansion. This caused a small headache for Issac, who was forced to fight the guards before making his way to the targets.
Issac emerged from the shadows in front of three guards. The guards raised their weapons and charged towards him. Issac, however, stood still, smirking, before launching shurikens at the guards, lodging them in their throats. The guards spewed blood out of their mouths as they gasped for air. The shurikens wouldn’t allow the guards to recover, instead, slowly and painfully killing them. Issac then moved onto his next target; a large clump of guards surrounding the mage. Once the mage was killed, Issac could enter the house with ease.
“Watch the shadows! They like to lurk in them! Keep your eyes open!” The mage---a young man with gravity-defying red hair and wearing a solid white robe--ordered from within the circle of guards. He focused on keeping the barrier constructed, but it wouldn’t hold for long.
Issac came out of the shadows and dashed towards the circle of guards with two daggers. His large dashed allowed the guards to prepare themselves, but they weren’t ready for Issac to disappear through a shadow. He went through a patch of darkness to be thrown out of a different patch of shadows---which happened to be over the circle of the guards. Issac fell twenty feet and landed in the middle of the circle, next to the mage. “Turn the lights on! Don’t let-” Issac interrupted him by plunging his daggers in the mage’s skull, ending his life prematurely.
The circle of guards dispersed after the mage was killed, but they couldn’t travel far before Issac overwhelmed them, slicing at their Adam apples and stomachs. He used an ax, instead of his usual katana. He also carried a chain with a sharpened tip that he used to pummel through the guards’ bodies, leaving a hole in their stomachs and heads. The screams and cries of the guards fueled Issac, while, at the same time, bringing down the noble family’s morale.
The noble family---consisting of the husband, wife, and their son and daughter---crawled into a corner and stayed there. Their room was protected by five guards, but it wouldn't be enough. Soon the cries and blood-curdling screams traveled from the front and back lawn to the first floor and up to the second floor where the family laid in wait. The father sent a messenger out through the backdoor to call for reinforcements, but Issac made quick work of him.
Issac made his way through the house, launching axes at the guards and burying them deep into their backs. He used the chain to wrap guards up before pummeling them full of throwing knives. The entire time he grinned at the blood that spilled over the marble floors. The walls were stained like someone sprayed buckets of blood at them.
The father of the noble family stood up and turned towards the closet. He yanked the closet’s door handle and rummaged through it. “Sir, what are you doing?” One of the guards asked.
“If we’re going down, then I want to go down fighting. Marty, focus on protecting my family.” He ordered. The guard nodded his head and backed away from the door and towards the corner that the family snugged themselves in. Meanwhile, the father, Grant Blake, found a small wooden box. He tugged his shirt down to reveal a necklace with a small silver key attached to it. He took the necklace off his neck and connected the key to the lock. Inside the box was a repeating flintlock pistol. The pistol looked aged, seemingly being locked in the box for over a decade. “I didn’t want to use this, but I have no choice. I’m sorry Issac, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be meeting each other soon.” Grant whispered as he turned around and pointed the pistol at the door.
The door remained closed as footsteps approached the door. The five guards and Grant waited patiently for the intruder to enter. “Die, die, die,” Grant muttered under his breath. “I want my family to live.”
Grant took his eyes off the door for one second. Within that second, the light bulbs were destroyed and three of the knights had their throats slit. Another knight was killed by a throwing ax splitting his head in half. The remaining guard, somehow, managed to parry a shuriken. Grant waved the pistol around wildly as he searched for the intruder. “Where’s the intruder?” He yelled.
“I don’t know,” Marty yelled back. Grant’s children began sobbing intensely. Grant’s wife hugged their children, accepting their death. However, Grant wasn’t ready to accept his fate.
Fortunately, he didn’t have to.
“Grant?” Issac asked from the shadows. “Forever?”
“Forever?” Grant repeated, lowering the pistol. “Issac? Is that you?” He asked the shadows. Issac emerged from the shadows and stared at Grant, locking eyes. Very faint moonlight entered the room.
“You’re my target? It can’t be.” Issac muttered as he took his hood off to reveal his face to Grant
“It seems like you have grown up to be a fine man. Unfortunately, it seems like we’re on opposite sides.” Grant remarked. He turned the pistol around and handed it to Issac. Issac took the pistol and inspected it. His name was etched into the pistol.
“I was hired to kill you and your family… but I can’t.”
“Who hired you?”
“The less you know, the better,” Issac muttered. “All you need to know is that there are assassins everywhere. We’re surrounded.”
“Surrounded?” Grant repeated. “What do we do now?”
“I won’t kill you. Instead, I’ll help you escape. You allowed me to escape, so I’ll return the favor. You won’t be able to leave with this many assassins surrounding us. It seems like it's time to wage war. They will fall and we will rise.” Issac ranted.
“They will fall and we will rise,” Grant repeated, letting out a small chuckle. “You have definitely changed.”

Episode Nine "The Dragon Has Risen"“I’ll kill as many as I can. I need you to move your family out of here.” He reached into his pocket and handed Grant a dagger. “This dagger is laced with poison, so tread lightly,” Issac told him. Grant nodded while looking at the dagger, inspecting it. He glanced over his shoulder at his worried family.
“Issac will get us out of here.” He declared. Issac shook his head while grinning.
“You are a naive bastard.” Issac then brandished his katana and pointed it at the nearest window. “Stay here while I deal with the pests.” He then charged through the window, breaking the window into shards. Grant, his family, and Marty listened as screams and cries were heard from unfamiliar voices.
“Kids, close your ears. Don’t taint your ears with the events outside.” Grant told his children, directing them away from the window. His wife snuggled with his children while Marty stood at attention, peeking out of the window. Grant felt strange about him peering outside, so he grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back. Where Marty’s head stood was a shuriken. If Grant didn’t pull him back, Marty’s head would’ve been sliced in half. “Stay clear of the windows. Issac’s dealing with the assassins outside, but some stray attacks may target us.” He warned him. Marty nodded, backing away from the window. Grant went back to his family, snuggling up with them. Screams and cries grew rampant until, eventually, disappearing.
Issac, somehow, jumped up and got on the roof, entering through the window. “Go through the backdoor. I’ll deal with the survivors.” He told them. Grant nodded and picked his family and Marty up, running out of the backdoor of their mansion with only their clothes on their backs. They didn’t pack their belongings, instead, leaving everything behind in the blood-soaked scenery.
Meanwhile, Issac remained to clean up the mess he’d created. The Dagger assassins were crippled to only a tenth. The other ninety percent were slaughtered, ruthlessly, by Issac. The bodies of the Dagger assassins were nailed to the wall, decapitated, drowned in their blood, or were amputated in more places than one. Blood-stained the grass, changing the lawn’s color. He had tormented the entirety of the once-overwhelming number of assassins. The survivors---filled with fright and anger---were forced to continue fighting. Their boss would kill any who didn’t complete their mission. The fear of their boss overpowered their fear of Issac. They charged at him. Issac sliced one assassin with a head-on strike before moving onto the second assassin, killing him by slicing his arms off. He then slit the guy’s ankles in half before throwing a dagger into his head, piercing his brain. He ventured off, slaughtering every assassin that appeared in front of him.
Five minutes had passed before Issac was the only living thing remaining on the property. He drenched himself in the blood of the corpses. His eyes were pitch black as he looked at the moon. A small yellowish-orange outline formed around him. “The dragon has risen!”
