Both saying, "We love you." and then the door closing after them.
The sound of the click meant once again I was alone. Four
I spent the rest of the raining afternoon cooped up in my room with my knees up under my chin while I stared at the computer screen, watching the mouse light up the login button. I had a debate on whether to click or not. I already had my details in ready to go.

All I could think is, 'why the hell not?' and my finger followed the words with a push. It was loading and I was already curling my hair around my left index finger. My heart beat faster and faster. The loading bar was nearly complete and then there was a knock at my door. I turned around in my computer chair, spinning a smooth 180. I now faced my door and the knocking continued.
"Come in." I replied to the knocking but it just continued.
So I unhitched my legs from off the seat and heaved myself up.
"Come in!" I yelled with agitation. More knocking. Doesn't this person hear? I took up four strides and then reached for the door. I had my hand on the handle and before I could turn it, the door flew open and hit me in the nose. A white heat came over me and my hands flew to my nose. Holy shit, my nose was pounding and my eyes burned. Did my nose just break? A girl stood there with the hallway light flooding into my dark room.
Was this girl for real? She stood taller than me with what seemed to be a stack of books. Wait, were they papers?
Over my shadowed hands I saw a gleam of a smile as I turned away to crouch. Cradling my face with my hands. A southern voice came from the lighted hall.
"Wow, it's dark in here! Let's shine a light on the situation." And then the lights came on and stung my eyes. I didn't even realize how dark it was in here.
I stood from my crouching position on the floor and rubbed the side of my nose. I turned to the girl beside the open door.
"Howdy!" She said with a joyful tune and a big white smile that reached her eyes. Her hair was a blue colour just more closer to a silver. She had a beauty spot just below her left eye and a few dark spots here and there across her nose and cheeks. I'm presuming they're freckles. She had a small eyebrow piercing with one end below her eyebrow and the other end above. Her hair was cut to just above her shoulders. Her lips were thick and plump with a clear gloss over the top. She looked like a cosmopolitan covergirl. She wore a loose red ROMWE sweater that came down to mid-thigh. Underneath was a pair of three quarter jeans that come just below the knee with a pair of country style high heel boots with a strip of skin showing between the end of the jeans and the top of the boots. She was paler than me but she had rosey cheeks and dark blue eyelids masked with long thick eyelashes. But her eyes were... I couldn't really tell...
"Oh crap! I didn't mean to do that! I'm pretty bad with my hands-" She basically yelled it through the thick layer of gloss. She quickly did a mini run to the drawers under the shelves on the wall and put the armful of papers on the surface of the drawers. Then she quickly made her way over to me. She went to reach for my hand so she can move it but I tried to pull away from her by lightly tilting my head to the side. But that didn't stop her freshly manicured nailed hand to come at my face. "Here, just let me have a look will ya?" She said as she slapped my hand away from my face. She placed her hands on either side of my head and inspected the damage. And then she chuckled. Was it really bad?!
"Oh girlll." As she said it, the 'l' at the end of girl, rolled on for a few seconds as she shook her head and leaned back with her hands on her hips. My hands flung to my face like magnets to check the damage myself. I ran my fingers over the skin of my nose but nothing hurt. "You didn't even end up with a mark. Fast healer you are." She said with a smile. Her silver blue hair shimmering in the dull light in my room. I kept touching my nose. It can't be right. "Even look in the mirror if you don't believe me." I looked at her as she cocked one of her eyebrows up. I scurried towards the large mirror on the wall beside the door. I tilted my head back to get the best view with light because of my shadow. I couldn't believe it. "Impossible." I breathed out.
I turned and the girl was still standing there with her hands on her hips. Her face dropped as if something dawned on her. Her hands dropped from her hips and her eyes grew wide. "How unfriendly of me! I should have introduced myself! I'm Williow but you can call me Deedey. Abit like two D's. It's my last name. I don't like it when people call me Will." And she then had her hand out towards me. I hesitated for a moment but then my hand reached for hers. "Charlie. Hansen. Charlie Hansen." I said shaking her hand and then releasing slowly as I asked, "Why don't you like being called Will? Isn't it easier?" Her face scrunched up. "You'll learn why." And then she yelped a quick 'OH!' and ran to the papers. She ruffled through them and did a quick pull up of her ROMWE jumper sleeves. I stood there rubbing my wrists in an unsure manner. I just looked around my room like it was someone elses. Just one of those things you do when you're unsure of what to do, you know?
"Here we go!" She exclaimed. She turned and gave me some books, sheets and a folder with folders inside of it. Atleast another 3. I didn't even notice she had THAT much. Then she ran over to my desk with careful steps in her red boots. Before I knew it, she had organized the sheets into the folders, sorted my books and placed them all in the an organized and correct order on the book shelves above my computer desk. Then she turned around with a big grin showing some gloss that was stuck on her tooth. "Are you hungry because it's dinner time and they've made theeeee best pluto pups in the world. Alot more delicious and healthier than the big old greasy ones back at home." And she looked at me from head to toe. She had one arm crossed and one arm up with her fingers tapping her chin. "Hmmmm, got heels?" And I automatically nodded. Weird.
I trailed behind Dee as she did her catwalk strut down the stairs and outside into the damp environment outside. It stopped raining and the sky was just a darker shade of blue and light pinks and purples. The sun slightly a quarter behind the forested mountains. After about 5 minutes, we turned to a big entrance and she stopped me. How big is this place? I just blinked and shivered from the cold air going through my white polo shirt. "What's up?" I asked, eager to just get atleast in the building. She shook her head. "Let your hair out." She said with a smile and her Southern Country accent taking its throne again. "Okay." I shook my hair out of the loose ponytail and my straight hair fell around my shoulders. "Awesome!" She chirped. She dragged me around the small corner and through the big white doors which could possibly fit a troll or something inside. I looked up and the ceiling had carvings and artworks printed all over the top. I gasped and Dee laughed. "Cool huh? They say that when this place was first built ages ago, it belonged to a really rich family but rumor has it that they weren't of this world. The guys name was Raplh Noctorium and he had SEVEN
sons and one daughter. But she was caught in some fight between families or something and she ended up killing herself." She sighed. I looked back at her since now we were eye level with the same height heels. "Sort of like Romeo and Juliette?" I suggested and she gave a small and slow shake of her head. "Yeah. Tragic really." And I looked at the ground. "Anyways, lets go eat, I'm starved!" And with that, she linked arms with me and we made our way through two double doors.
We walked into the large dining room and Dee unlinked arms with me and skipped towards a table to the center of the right side of the hall. I looked around at atleast 1000 other students sitting at the tables. Some turned and looked at me while others were deep in conversation. I looked over at the table that Dee ran to. She turned and waved her hand for me to hurry. I headed over with my well practiced and balanced walk to the table. I smiled and waved my hand slightly at everyone. On Dee's left, a boy with long shaggy curls sat slouched over his meal while demonstrating what seemed to be a potato and hot dog in a sword fight. The girl beside him laughed and looked up at me with a wide smile. Her blond hair hanging over her shoulders and dropping down in tight curls to the middle of her torso and back. "Hey, I'm Lauren!" She stood up and offered her hand and I took it and shook. "I'm Charlie." I smiled and lifted my eyebrows to give my tired face a more bright look. She sat down and said something to Dee over the top of the table. Dee turned to me and pulled out a chair for me to sit in and I accepted it gratefully. "Thank you." And she turned back to Lauren. I sat with my hands in my lap. Then I saw a hand in my provisional vision. I looked up and turned to my right. A boy held out his hand. "Hey darlin'. The name's Norris, that guy playing with his food is Thomas and these three over here are Julie, Moe and Corey." And I looked over at the three beside Norris and one was leaning back with a smirk on his face while he had a slim darkly tanned woman on his lap. They seemed to be caught in a whispering situation and sharing a few pecks on the lips. The guy had black hair that was
