Chap 2

"Marcia, I just don't know what to do about Laylahnni. Ever since Cade died, she’s just not the same. And I love her too much to see her get hurt, or say anything. I mean what do you say to your daughter if you think she’s depressed? I just don’t want to loose my baby, too” Lillian Spehar said to her best friend (since third grade) and godmother of her children.
β€œEr, I don’t know. Just talk to her. Let her know you care. She probably thinks you hate her.” Marcia said, trying her best to look out for her best friend. She leaned over the table and hugged Lillian. β€œGo home. Talk to her, let her know you are there. She will tell you.” She pat her back and pulled away. Then she laughed. β€œ I haven’t given you advice since that idiot Kaden. Love ya! I’ll be over with Chris later for cards.”
β€œOkay love you, too. Bye.” With that she set down three dollars and went to her car to drive home.
Time to get yet another task done on her on going To-Do list.
