care if I took a cold shower every day for the rest of my life.

We went back to the shore, and Breeze laughed about her latest wave. “I almost fell. That swell was huge!”

I smiled. “You handled it well, but make sure you time your pop up better in the future.”

“Thanks, Dad, I will!” Breeze called out as she ran to sit next to Violet in the sand, no doubt wanting to see if Violet was watching her too.

Seeing Violet next to Breeze reminded me that Violet was still so young, young enough to literally be my daughter. Hell, I had known the twins since they were three; she practically was my daughter. Even as I thought that, I couldn’t help but compare the two. Violet was more mature than Breeze, I told myself in an attempt to justify my dick getting hard from just a look from her.

Violet didn’t have a childhood filled with loving parents. She had nannies and housekeepers, but her parents were rarely ever there, even when she was young. I think it made her grow up more quickly than she should have.

There was no doubt that Violet was sexually mature. She was a full-blown vixen who knew exactly how to get what she wanted. And right now, what she wanted was me. She wore sunglasses that hid her gaze, but I felt her eyes on me. She had a bright red bikini on that showed off her underboob. Fucking hell.

“Ah! I’m going to grab a snow cone, do you guys want one?” Breeze asked while nodding toward the truck driving up to the street.

“I’ll take one,” Violet replied in a sultry voice. I would certainly lose my shit if I had to watch her lick at the treat. I was already imagining her bright red lips and tongue wrapping around my co—

“Dad?” Breeze asked. I coughed.

“Nope. I’m good.”

Breeze got up and jogged over to the parking lot to buy the snow cones, and I sat down in the sand next to Violet. “How are you doing?” I asked.

“Fine,” she replied. I might be old, but I knew that fine never really meant fine when it came to women. Or—fuck—girls, in Violet’s case.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” she said while popping up to sit. She started twisting her hair up into a bun and tied it with a rubber band. I watched, transfixed by her graceful movements. “I have a date tonight.”

“Oh really?” I asked, though the idea of Violet with someone else made me want to punch something.

“Yep. Met him at a party. He’s pretty hot. I’m excited.”

I knew this was some juvenile trick, but it was working. If Violet wanted me to feel jealous, she’d succeeded. I didn’t want some prick touching her. Kissing her. Fucking her. “Well, I hope you have fun then,” I replied evenly, though there was a hurricane roaring in my chest. “I think my wife and I are going out this weekend. It would be nice to rekindle the flames a bit, you know?”

She clenched her teeth. Ally and I hadn’t been on a date in ages. Hell, we only had sex once a month. “You don’t even like your wife,” Violet snapped. She was like a toddler who didn’t want to share her toy. It was so fucked up. Child. She was a fucking child. I looked over at Breeze, who was standing at the back of the snow cone line.

“And you know that whatever fuckboy you found won’t make you feel half as good as I do,” I clipped, immediately hating myself for saying that. Fuck! I was losing my head.

She smiled like a Cheshire cat. “Really? Because the only thing making me feel good lately is my vibrator.” She leaned in closer to whisper, her lips caressing the shell of my ear. “I moan your name sometimes when I come.”

I grabbed the back of her neck as she pulled away and yanked her toward me for a devastating kiss. We fought with our lips. Our teeth clashed. It was a painful, bruising sort of kiss that I felt throughout my body. I groped her body, grabbing at her chest, her hips, and her delicious ass as she moaned. This was fucking risky. I knew I needed to stop. Anyone on the beach could see us. But more importantly, Breeze could see us.

But my body refused to listen. I had to feel her against me. This thing between us had been building, building, building. I tugged at her bottom lip with my teeth, then swirled my tongue around hers, tasting the chocolate she had been enjoying earlier. So sweet. I knew she’d taste good.

So I ravished her. I fucked her mouth with my tongue, promising with my touch all the dirty, filthy things I would do to her. There was no going back now.

And all the while, I kept my eyes on my daughter, making sure she didn’t turn around and see me ruin our family with her best friend.

Violet

I went to school, work, and my weekly sleepovers with Breeze as if thoughts about fucking her father weren’t consuming my soul. When I wasn’t with him, I was thinking about him. What to wear the next time I saw him, how to tease him when Breeze turned her back, and how good his body felt on mine. We hadn’t had sex—yet—but I’d stolen enough kisses and stroked his cock in the dark. We couldn’t keep our hands off each other, not that we really tried.

Breeze and I were sitting in the crowded lunchroom at school. She was eating a homemade lunch that her mom had packed her, and I was picking at something pretending to be a salad that I had bought from the cafeteria.

“Earth to Violet,” Breeze teased as she snapped her fingers in front of my face. “You didn’t listen to a word I said about the history test. What are you even thinking about?”

Your dad, I thought as I cleared my throat. “Oh, just
