history, but I couldn’t find it.”

Mrs. Shirley stared at me for a breath, then smiled. “Have you eaten? I brought Chinese food,” she offered while lifting up a plastic sack. I slid my eyes over to Brian, who avoided looking back at me. Shit.

“Oh no, I’ll just go home. Maybe Chase took notes?” I answered, and Mrs. Shirley laughed. Yeah, the idea of my brother taking school seriously was a joke.

“Come on. Have dinner. We can watch the movie and wait for Breeze to get here. I got way too much food anyway. Besides, I get scared watching these horror movies. The more people here, the less likely I am to embarrass myself.”

I smiled briefly and nodded, feeling trapped. “Sure. I’d love to.”

Mrs. Shirley grinned. “Yay! I’ll get some soda.”

The moment she disappeared in the kitchen, Brian stalked over to me. “What do you think you’re doing?” he hissed.

“She invited me. It would be weird to turn her down. I’m here all the time,” I argued. Believe me, I didn’t want to be here any more than he wanted me here. Sitting with Brian’s wife with the taste of his cock on my tongue was not my idea of a good time.

“No more surprise visits. We need to be better,” he whispered. I could tell he was stressed. I just wanted to wipe the worry from his mind. “You tempt me too much.”

Mrs. Shirley reappeared, and he settled on the couch. The entire dinner, I thought of his words.

You tempt me too much.

You tempt me too much.

Violet

It had been a week since Mrs. Shirley had almost caught me deep throating her husband. That was too damn close, and I did not want Breeze or Mrs. Shirley to find out, especially not while we were in the act. I managed to keep my distance from Brian, except for when we were at work. The surf shop was the only place either of us felt safe enough to enjoy each other. Though we still hadn’t had sex, it became our love shack.

Not this weekend, though. There was a surf contest happening, and it would be too risky. It wasn’t one of the big semi-annual competitions, but it was big enough that the whole island would be there, and we didn’t want to take the chance that someone would see us. Despite having to go a whole weekend without the feel of Brian’s hands on my body, I was excited. Not because I surfed, but because I would be able to watch Brian while he did, and nobody would think twice. Everybody stared at the surfers while they were riding the waves, and I was planning on taking full advantage.

The day before the contest, Breeze and I went shopping for new swimsuits. She picked out a hot pink bikini that showed off her sleek surfer’s body. I chose a cobalt blue one piece that had more cutouts than fabric. It simultaneously showed off my eyes and my boobs.

“Damn, Vi, you look gorgeous! Who are you trying to impress with that?” Breeze teased when I came out of the dressing room to show her.

“With all those hot surfers running around, it’s like a man candy buffet. I have to look perfect if I’m going to sink my teeth into one of them,” I replied with a wink.

We paid for the swimsuits and went back to my house. Breeze always spent the night with me before the competitions. That way we could get ready together. She never competed, she always just came to watch. She was definitely good enough, but I don’t think she had the confidence.

We ate dinner that night with Chase before he stalked up to his room to isolate himself. He took these competitions way too seriously and said that we were messing up his vibes with our silly girl talk and he needed to focus. I’m pretty sure that just meant he was going to masturbate and go to bed early. Gross.

The next day we both woke up, and I curled her hair. She didn’t like it when I gave her makeovers, but I was just trying to help Breeze see herself as beautiful and capable. Hell, I’d be happy if she spoke up and told me no for once. Just putting her foot down and owning what she wanted would be a huge step for Breeze Shirley. Until then, I’d curl her hair and cake on her makeup until she saw herself for the fucking gorgeous model she was.

Everyone was out for the surfing competition. The crowds were fun, and I’d be lying if I didn’t enjoy the looks of appreciation I got from a few of the surfers. But there was one man I wanted to see affected. Brian stood with his wife on the sand under an umbrella. She was rubbing lotion into her skin as he waxed his board. I felt his eyes on me almost instantly, and I practically preened at the way his breath hitched. His mouth dropped open, and he licked his lips.

“Hey, Dad!” Breeze said before greeting him. Brian stood up and gave her a hug before greeting me.

“You two look nice. Where is your swimsuit cover up, huh? I can’t focus if I have to fight off the boys. And are you wearing makeup?” he asked, though he eyed me. I knew the comment was for us both.

“Oh, be quiet,” Mrs. Shirley said before patting his chest. “I met you at a surfing contest. In fact, I remember us spending the entire night together after you won.”

She leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, making my blood boil. Fuck. I couldn’t do this. Breeze thankfully saved us all from the awkwardness. “Gross, Mom. I don’t want to hear about you and Dad.”

Mrs. Shirley rolled her eyes, but Brian stared at me. It felt like a test, almost. More than anything, Brian didn’t want this getting out. Seeing how I reacted to his wife pawing at him would determine
