of them live in their dorm or apartment. I wanted to have my own place but Paul doesn’t want me to live on my own, and I have no choice but to stick with them.
Five minutes pass I receive a text message from Asabila, she said that she couldn’t able to pick me up, for some reasons I don’t know.
I grab all my stuff and decided to ride a bus or whatever can take me home.
As I walk by I always thinking that I should just run so that I can reach to the mansion earlier. Vampires are so fast like a speed of wind, but Paul reminded me that I should low my profile and keep acting like a human.
Suddenly there is a blowing of horn behind me; I look around to see who it is. The car slow down and stop where I’m standing, the window roll down and its Aaron Scot Richardson.
“You need a ride?” asks Aaron.
Before I could answer his question he opens the door for me, “come on get inside I’ll drive you home.”
I get inside the car.
Holy Ground University is 30 minutes drive to Malibu, and on that 30 minutes I don’t know what I’m going to say to Aaron, I should just neglect his offer but it’s not good for me to that. The worst is that I cannot able to see his mind and thoughts.
“So where do you live?” asks Aaron.
“Malibu,” I answered dryly.
He smiles, “so you are rich?”
“No.”
“Well, everybody who lives in Malibu is the rich and famous people.”
“I’m sorry to tell you but I’m not included to everybody,” I said.
To tell you honestly I’m not rich, I don’t need money to live I’m a vampire all I need is blood.
Of course I didn’t said that to him, I’m not yet crazy.
“Okay, calm down I believe you,” he said.
Suddenly I don’t understand what I feel, I’m having this worst nausea ever in my vampire life, my gums is hurting me, I feel like I’m choking. I only feel this when I’m thirsty, I can smell the blood of Aaron, and I’m fighting myself not to kill him.
“Are you okay?” I think Aaron already notice my dizziness.
“Yes,” I lied.
Finally we already here in the mansion, “stop the car.” I climb out from the car. “Thanks for the ride.”
“Hey! Wait,” he shouted.
I didn’t bother to look back, I just continue walking, I feel like my fangs are ready to open his veins and bite him. I straight ahead to the storage room and drink a lot of animals blood, hoping my thirst will be gone like a magic.
When I open the door Ian is standing in front of me, and I jerked out. “You give me a fright.”
“Really? Do I look like a ghost for you?” said Ian.
Not only a ghost, but an evil ghost, I wish I could tell him.
Instead I said, “Get out of my way.”
To my surprise Ian walk with me, I wonder what he is planning right now and dying to know what games he’s playing on me so that I can prepare myself so that I can defense myself against him.
“I feel human out there,” he smiled. “The moment you arrive.”
“So, is that a major big problem?” I ask.
“Humans can be very dangerous for us,” he explains. “I know that you know how does it feels. To control yourself not to kill that person, I’ve been there Elisa.”
“What is your point Ian?”
“My point is that man is, stop seeing with him before it get worst,” said Ian.
I exhale deeply, “I’m afraid I can’t.”
“Why?”
“Because he is my classmate.”
“Then drop the subject, it’s just so easy.”
I open the door of my room and get inside, “stop messing around Ian.”
Then I shut the door in front of him. I don’t feel sorry about it, he deserves anyway.
What if Ian is right? No! He can’t be right. What if Aaron is dangerous person, but that is impossible he is just an ordinary man.

The next morning I haven’t seen Asabila I wonder what makes her busy? I’m searching for her around the campus, but there is no luck for me.
I sat on the vacant chair, well, at least is the only table that is away from humans. No one is going to sit here and study because it’s creepy and quite. So dark in here, only one little bulb that gives light here. For humans this is so scary but for me it is the right place to hide.
I put my earphones and listen to the music with a full blast of volume. I need to concentrate on something right now, especially to Aaron. Why can’t I see his past and future? I think Ian is right, it just really hard on me to accept that.
“Hey.”
I look up and it’s Aaron again. “What are you doing in here?” I ask on the lame question. Of course he would study in here.
He pulls the chair in front of me to sit down. “Maybe I should the one asking that question. A beautiful lady like you who lives in Malibu with a big mansion choose to be alone and sitting here to be unnoticed?”
“Is that a problem?” I ask immediately.
“No,” he said. “But I know already your secret, that is why you are always alone. You don’t want to expose your true image.”
What? Does Aaron really know what I am? What am I going to do? Should I run? No, that is such stupid idea. Oh! Come on Elisa please think straight, but this is not the right time to think, this is the right time to act. Really, is this the right time to act? Shit! I don’t know what I’m going to do, I should stop thinking, and I should tell Paul and Ian. Maybe I should kill Aaron now, not a good idea again.
Aaron smiled, his crooked smile that I always like, but not this time. “Calm down, don’t get panic so fast. Actually I’m not going to tell your secret to everyone.”
“What?” that is all I manage to say.
“Your secret is safe with me, that Ian Lockwood is your brother.”
It makes me laugh that he is talking about Ian. I know how famous is Ian now you cannot blame the people. Boys want to be like him and girls want to be with him.
I’ve seen Asabila in the far side of the library, with a worry face. When she found me, she walks directly at me.
“Hi,” said Asabila. Asabila face becomes paler and paler, and then she closes her eyes.
“Are you okay?” I ask.
“We should go now,” said Asabila firmly.
“Aaron I should go now, see you around,” I said to Aaron.
“Okay,” he said.

I don’t have any idea why Asabila is hurrying up? We went to the school parking lot.
Asabils give the key on me of her car, “drive the car Elisa.”
“Okay.”
I think Asabila is not fine.
“What is wrong with you?” I ask. I’m concern now.
“Just drive the car fast,” she said almost shouting.
“What’s the rush?”
“I’m thirsty, I cannot explain it now, at this crisis moment all I need is blood.”

Chapter 4

At last Asabila is okay, she already drink the animals blood, though she doesn’t like it, it satisfy her for a moment.
The moment I saw him, I feel so thirsty. I don’t know why.” Said Asabila. She meant Aaron, I have a feelings she doesn’t like him.
“Who?” Interjected someone.
And that someone is Ian Lockwood.
“Can you give me the name Asabila?” asks Ian.
Asabila opens her mouth without a word came out.
So, I decided to tell his name. “His name is Aaron.”
“Oh! Aaron who?”
“Aaron Scot Richardson.”
“Nice name,” Ian complemented. Then he leaves.

When I’m alone in my room, I decided to fix all my stuffs, I found my room so chaos. Every time I try to arrange all my stuffs it only turns out to be messy and unorganized. But tonight is different, my room is perfect, and I don’t have any idea on it. Suddenly I think about Aaron, ever time I’m with him all I can feel is pain; I’m always try to control myself not to kill him, even though it hurts me, but it feel so good. And I already get used to his presence.
I look outside the window to clear up my mind. I’m so glad that Ian cannot read my thoughts.
After a few minutes looking outside, I’ve seen someone standing someone on the other street, and its Aaron. Vampire has a clear vision on the dark. I can clearly see his brown hair and his brown eyes. I wonder what the hell is he doing in here? Does he see me? Is he staring on me? My room is on the second floor, and I doubt he could able to see me. I notice Aaron is dialing his cell phone, a few seconds my phone rings.
I answer my phone and wonder who is it. “Hello?”
“Hi,” the voice sounds like Aaron. And it’s really the voice of Aaron.
“Hey, what are you doing outside our house?” I ask.
“I just wanted to see you and I miss your voice.”
I’m speechless I don’t know what to say.
“Okay, you should get some rest now and I better should go. Good night.” He drops the call already.
I smiled at myself, I don’t know how to react, all I know is that I like Aaron, though he always give me the uneasy feeling, but deep inside of m I can get use of it. I hope Aaron likes me the way I like him. It’s my first time to feel this kind of feeling. It’s like you are floating on the outer space, it’s like the winter flakes covered by the summer bloom, like the ocean and the moon collides.
I was too late to notice that someone entered my room, and it’s Paul.
Paul Lockwood is the only creature I know who truly cares on me, Paul is the younger brother of Ian and they are way different from each other except that they are both good looking handsome man.
Paul walk closer to me, “come with me at the living room.” His angelic face is very serious the tone of his voice seems that there is something wrong.
“Why?” I ask curiously.
“There are important matters we have to discuss.”
“We? Important matters?”
“Yes,” he said.
What does he mean important matter? Does Paul going to leave me alone? Is he coming with Jennycris? And the worst part is that I’m going to stick with Ian that is why Paul wants to discuss the important matters. Maybe Paul is afraid that Ian and I will be fighting on each other and we can create a world war III. Because the fact is that I can’t stand Ian, and Ian loves to ruin my life. We are like the cat and mouse, loves to hate with each other.
I followed Paul, as I walk downstairs, I notice that the living room is crowded. Mrs. Emily Taylor and Mr. Robert Taylor are here, and Asabila is also here. Mike and Rica are here too, what are they doing in L.A? And what are they doing in our house?
Mike and Rica are long time friends of Ian and Paul, they are originated from Scotland, but 80 years ago they move to San Francisco. All I know they get married two years ago, but they just renew their vows after 89 years of marriage.
Rica stay the same, she’s
