She is a kind daughter to her parents and also a kind sister to her two siblings younger brothers. But one day her life change just because of a wish.
Marie Elisa believe in supernatural thing, she believes that faerie, vampires, werewolves, and witch exists in the real world, that they are all real, not just only made up on story that you will read on the book. And because of that in the age of fifteen Marie Elisa always come and go to the city library of London, searching for some fantasy books.
One night e very rainy night in London Marie Elisa found an old notebook from her grandmother’s drawer. The notebook consists several kind of spell magic, but the one that caught her eyes attention is the spell calling for vampires. She took the notebook and went straight to her bedroom. Inside her room she do some rituals. Marie Elisa follows all the instructions from her grandmothers’ notebook.
She light up the three white candles and she sit on the floor. She clears her throat before she is going to cast the spell.
Marie Elisa starts to read the spell. “I’m Marie Elisa Hart calling all the angel and saints to help me and protect me from harm while casting these spell,” Marie Elisa said clearly. “Water, wind, fire, and earth I ask you to guide me.” Marie Elisa stop for a moment while she turns to the next page.
“I wish I could able to see a real vampire,” she continues.
The rain goes harder as she cast the spell; the wind blows like there is a typhoon coming out. Suddenly the window opens and Marie Elisa jerked away. She stood up trying to close the window and fighting against the wind. Before she could close it, someone appears outside the window and it seems he is floating in the air.
Marie Elisa eyes widened, instead of screaming and shouting for help, she only just asks some not-so-helpful question to the man. “Are you a vampire?” she asks.
The man is very tall and handsome. He is pale, paler than an icy snow, he looks like a god from above visits the Earth.
The man didn’t say anything. He smiles to Marie Elisa and after that he attacks her and bite Marie Elisa on the neck. His white sharp fangs sink in deeper on the neck of Marie Elisa, while he is sucking her clean blood.
Marie Elisa cry for agony, all she can feel is that the white sharp fangs of the man sink in to her neck. She thought that her veins are ready to cut through. Before she fainted she able to see the face of the man clearly, the smooth face and the scary red eyes that belongs from the devil.
After that night happened, Marie Elisa Hart is gone missing, her parents doesn’t have any idea where she is. Ten… twenty years pass her parents always keeping the faith alive that there only daughter will come back.
But she never came back.
Not yet.

BOOK MARIE ELISA
Chapter 1
It’s been twenty years pass that I was once a human being. I use the past tense because I was really a human twenty years ago. And if you are asking yourself what am I right now? Well, I’m a vampire now… you don’t believe me? I’m not begging you to believe me, in fact I don’t believe of anything now, there is nothing to believe for if you are already an immortal. I don’t believe in God, I don’t worship him anymore; my first love now is blood. Blood that makes me stay alive. I’m not an ordinary vampire I have powers. Powers to see the past and the future. Psychic? Of course not, and there is one thing I want to tell you I don’t know if I’m a vampire. I just call myself a vampire because I am craving for blood, just like what you read on the books that creature who are craving for blood are vampires.
But my kind doesn’t really know what we are, or what to call ourselves. We look like humans, maybe we are humans who love to drink blood instead of tequila or champagne or a fine wine from Italy. But we are different from humans. We are fast, flexible, have a strength of Superman, of course we are undead, a living dead.
Sometimes I called myself a monster, and if I get tired calling myself a monster a called myself a goddess or a devil. Then a demon the perfect name to call myself or us is a demon. We are the Midnight Demons.
“Hey, Marie Elisa do you love the people here in Los Angeles?” asks Ian Lockwood.
“No,” I said firmly.
I went ahead to the kitchen.
Ian Lockwood is the one who turn me into a vampire, and I blame him for everything of what I become. Because of him my life is ruin forever. I wanted to kill him, but obviously he is way stronger than me. I’m just preparing myself and finding my strength before I could kill him. Ian is twenty-five years of age, technically. His real age is 180 years old.
Ian doesn’t look like 180 years old, he looks like twenty-five. How stupid I am, of course how will you get old if you are immortal. In spite of what he done to me I still found him handsome, because he is tall and have a built body. All in all he is perfect creature.
I’m not only stuck with Ian, I’m also stuck with Paul Lockwood his younger brother, and he is two years younger than Ian. He is also a vampire who lives and walks this Earth for 180 years now. Like Ian, he is also handsome, blue eye; he is like a supermodel. Wait I have to correct this statement ‘I’m not stuck with Ian and Paul, but Paul and I are stuck with Ian’. Anyway Paul is like my angel or my perfect vampiric angel. Paul is the one who teach me how to control my hunger and my thirst. He also teaches me to drink only the animal blood, which we called our own personal vegie diet. I have a huge crush of Paul, but too bad on me he has already a girlfriend named Jennycris, a pretty vampire.
“You don’t like Los Angeles? Everyone love the city of angels,” said Ian while opening the fridge.
The three of us lives on one roof, many people think we are siblings. Except for Ian and Paul, because they are really brothers, but the two of them claiming that I’m their younger sister.
“Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you master Ian, but I really hate Los Angeles, because I’m not an angel,” I said to him.
“Oh,” said Ian. “You are calling me a master now? Hey, my dear Marie Elisa Hart or Marie Elisa Lockwood, you should support me on my acting career here in Hollywood, you’ll never know I’ll win a best actor on Oscar.”
Another fact about Ian he is now a Hollywood actor, which is why we move from London to Los Angeles. “I can’t wait for that. And what is your role? Let me guess a mysterious vampire from a small town, like Edward Cullen the sparkly vampire on the novel of Twilight saga series.”
“Edward sparks when he is expose from sunlight,” said Ian cheerfully. “A real vampire like us doesn’t sparkle. We can expose ourselves under the heat of the sun, in fact we can do sun bathing to achieve the sun-kissed skin. And only stake, a charm stake can kill us,” he said.
Ian is right, only a charm stake can kill us and a charm stake is hard to find and difficult to built it.
I tap the shoulder of Ian, “all I can say is that best wishes to your acting career.”
“That is very nice of yours,” said Ian. “By the way Paul is with Jennycris looking for animal, because Paul doesn’t want to break his vegie diet. Don’t you worry he will bring you a blood too.”
Ian raises his right eyebrow. “Your spice girl pal is here, Posh. I’m just joking, Asabila is here.” Ian looks on his watch. “I think it’s time for me to go. Don’t you worry, you are still my only girl.”
“Shut the fuck up Ian,” I shouted to him.
Ian and Asabila meet on the doorway, when Ian is leaving the Malibu/hunted-mansion.
Asabila is heading up to me, she walk so gracefully like a ballet dancer. “What’s up my friend?”
I didn’t answer.
Asabila lean on the kitchen counter. “Let me tell you this, I think Mr. Ian Lockwood l-o-v-e you.”
When I heard what Asabila said I laugh so hard and it almost like an evil laugh. “Are you kidding me? I rather am alone than to be with Ian. Don’t you know that when I’m with Ian and Paul I fell like I’m in heaven and at the same time hell visits me? Paul is the heaven side and Ian is the lord from hell visits the earth.” I stop for a while. “And the worst part is that when Ian and Paul are fighting, the heaven and hell collide, and they are creating this huge black hole ready to suck up the energy of the world.”
“I know,” said Asabila. “But I’m so jealous on you, because Ian is hot and Paul is cool. And you are living with them.”
Asabila is my close friend; she always thinks that Ian likes me, which is why he turns me into a vampire. But I always laugh every time she said that to me.
Asabila is a very nice and pretty girl.
She lives with Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, the couples adopt her ten years ago the day she become a vampire. It was a long story, anyway Mr. and Mrs. Taylor was the foster parent of the Lockwood brothers before they move out from them. And wherever the Lockwood brothers go the Taylor family follows. Besides Mr. and Mrs. Taylor open their house for me but I neglect it.
“Asabila, I’ve got something to show you,” I said.
“And what is that?” she asks.
“Come with me, in my room.”
I pull something in my drawer and give it to her.
“What is this?” she asks.
“A notebook from my grandmother.”
She opens the notebook and read it page by page. “This is a spell,” she said curiously.
“I know and because of that I became of what I became.”
Asabila look at me strangely. “I thought Ian is the responsible of what you become? You said before, Ian turn you into a vampire.”
“Yes, Ian is the one who turn me into a vampire,” I said. I pull the notebook from her and turn the pages until I found the spell that I used that night twenty years ago. “Try to read this.” I let her read the spell for her.
“The spell for calling a vampires?” she asks.
“Yes.”
“So what is your point now?”
“My point is that… I think there is a spell to make us human again,” I said cheerfully.
Asabila scratch her head. “That is ridiculous. We cannot be human again. Mom and dad
