still pretty and have the curly dark free tangle hair that I really admire. Her dark eyes stays on focus, and Mike is more handsome than ever.
As I walk to the living room I’ve seen Ian is on the mini library, his face is so compose and worried. Whoa? It couldn’t be, he doesn’t know the word worry, so how can he be worried? I stare on his blue eyes for a while, his eyes are like the ocean the deepest ocean that you can imagine, so blue and worry free, but not this time, his eyes are so tired and focus on something.
It seems like he is talking to someone, but I couldn’t seen it. Maybe he is talking by himself. Maybe Ian would confess to everybody that he is a lunatic creature that will surely end up at the mental hospital. I almost laugh on my thoughts.
The moment Ian notices me staring on him, he close the door immediately.
Paul grabs me to the living room, and the moment I step inside the room, everyone stares on me. Their eyes are locked on me, I smiled on them hoping they would smile back to me. But they didn’t, instead Asabila run up to me and hug so tight, like I’m one of her teddy bears.
“I’m glad you’re okay,” said Asabila shaking in horror.
Jennycris pulls Asabila away from me, “Elisa, don’t mind her.”
“Oh! Elisa, Asabila just miss you,” said Mrs. Emily. Her voice is so calming like she could vanish away all my random thoughts. “Asabila miss you my dear, and she is happy to be here again.” Mrs. Emily kisses my cheeks. “If you excuse us for a while Elisa,” said Mrs. Emily.
Asabila and Mrs. Emily went to the other side of the room, so that no one could hear their conversation.
I can sense that there is something they haven’t told me. I sit beside to Rica. “Rica, I miss you,” I said and I hug her.
“I miss you too,” said Rica happily.
“What’s going on? What brings you here in L.A? You and Mike.”
Mike went over to me, and shakes my hand. “Just nothing, but perhaps we should catch up later, okay?”
“Okay,” I said.
Asabila and Mrs. Emily are back in the living room.
Ian the not so great is also here in the living room with someone I don’t know. I think I already seen her before but I can’t remember where and when. Her long bright red hair is familiar; well she is really familiar to me.
Ian stands on the center, “everybody this is Honeylette.” Ian stretches his hands to Honeylette.
Ian step aside and let Honeylette take the floor.
Honeylette starts talking. “I think I should not further this, I should be direct to the point,” she said.
“I hope you all know that our lives are in danger now. They are hunting us, wanted to kill us, and to terminate us in this planet. And this time our enemies are the humans,” said Honeylette firmly.
Oh! I already remember her; she is the one who works on the High Councils of Eternals. High Councils of Eternals is the organization of the vampires. They are the one who make all the rules and to make sure that the vampires doesn’t kill an innocent human, most of them are the old ones.
Old ones are the original vampires, the first vampires in history. They live in the world around 600 years already, they are stronger that can you imagine.
I stand up. “You are the one who works with the High Councils of Eternals. Right?” I ask her.
She stares at me for a moment, and then she flip aside her long radiance red hair. “Yes. Why?”
“So if you with them, why are you here? Why are you saying this kind of stuffs? Humans are not our enemies, I guess we are the enemies of the humans,” I said without thinking.
She bleak for a second, “yes, you’re right, and at the same time you’re wrong. Yes we are the enemies of the humans, and because we are the enemies of them, they are hunting us down. Makes sense Marie Elisa?”
“But…” I’m having trouble to what I’m going to say next. Thanks God I manage to pick up all the words again. “But we are stronger and faster than humans. So, how can they defeat us?”
Ian step up in the scene, “and that is what she is trying to explain, before you interrupt her.”
“I’m sorry, I’m just confuse,” I said.
I get back on my seat, and feel embarrass to myself. If I just patience enough to listen, I would not end up like this.
“Well, where are we now?” said Honeylette. “Okay, this group of humans are here in Los Angeles, we just track them up a few weeks ago, but we don’t have any idea who they are. But we already have a hint who are these guys.”
“Ms. Elisa, please listen carefully to this portion, this is what you’ve been waiting for. How can they defeat us? Simple, they would not fight against us, because obviously they don’t have the capability to do that. The only thing they can turn us apart is the potion. A potion that the evil witches made, it contains a substance of flower that will make us weak. And if they are going to inject that on us, it is easy for them to kill us,” said Honeylette.
Mike raises his hand. “Do you mean, they also have the magical charm stake?”
“Yes,” answered Mr. Robert. “They already have it, in fact the war lock may also known the evil witch helped them.”
“I don’t like this kind of conversation, I think I’m going to throw up,” said Asabila.
Asabila went to the kitchen and I followed her.
“What’s the problem?” I ask. “I saw you face earlier, you seems so scared, like you are afraid that I’m might get die.”
“It was nothing, I just miss you. That’s all.”
She is lying; she cannot even look me in the eye. “You know I don’t I buy your answer. You cannot hide anything from me.”
“I promise it was nothing.”
“Asabila is right, Elisa. It was nothing,” said Ian.
Why does he always do this?
“Asabila, your parents are waiting on you. I think it’s time for you to go home,” Ian said to Asabila.
Asabila left the house. Mike and Rica are coming with them.
“What’s wrong?” I ask Ian.
Ian stares on me, I can feel the burning of his eyes. I can see his blue eyes clearly; it’s like the color of the ocean painted the morning sky. Even though he has the most amazing blue eyes, it cannot hide his worries, it’s like the blue sky covered a thunderstorm and the ocean is cover by the darkness of the sky.
Finally he began to speak. “I want you to take care of yourself. I promise I will protect you from everything.”
I don’t understand what he is trying to mean. But the Ian I know before is not the Ian I see now he is different. Is there a possibility that Ian would change, and we could be friend?

Chapter 5

I’m having trouble coping my pace, it’s like you are chasing a ghost but in the end you are the misguided ghost. I still don’t get it why Ian said those words at me? When he said those words it feels like it’s the end of the world.
“How are you?” asks Aaron. I think he is in the class a while a ago and I just haven’t notice because I’m having a busy thoughts. And I think Aaron breaks his record, he is not late today.
I scratch my head trying to think of suitable answer. “I’m okay.” I lie. I have to lie; I don’t think he has the right to know how I am right now.
After the class I headed to my locker, when Aaron grabs my hand and pull me into him, it seems my world is in slow motion and I can hear my own heartbeats when he hold my hands.
“Come with me, I want you to show something,” said Aaron.
I follow him into his car, he didn’t say anything to me, he just hold my hand so tight, afraid that I could escape from him. I don’t have any idea where are we going; all I know is that I’m in his car. I think it’s a long ride. Every time I watch his face it only drive me crazy, every single of me is dying to be human again, in that case if I’m human again, I could be with him forever.
The car stops, I realize we are in the woods, and I don’t think we are still in L.A. “Where are we?” I ask. I don’t think he heard me; my words are almost a whisper.
He sighed and smiled at me, “we are in my favorite place.”
“This is your favorite place? In the middle of the woods?”
It’s strange for a normal person to come here and claim it’s his favorite place. This place is not safety for humans, and it’s not a friendly place to hang out. I’m pretty sure there is a fox here ready to eat you alive and crumble your own bones. And it only makes me sick when we stay here a little bit longer.
He comes closer to from where I stand. “I don’t want to hurt you. I already love you before I met you,” he said it like he mean it.
“I don’t understand,” I say. I wanted to say I love him too, but I’m still confused.
Without a notice he kiss my lip, and I kiss him back. Our world or my world stop in just like that. I’m defenseless now, I can’t avoid him anymore, and he already owns my world. He is my world now.
And I push him, when I almost tempted to kill him. His blood. I can smell his warm blood, and I don’t want him to get hurt because of me. This is only one of the reasons why I don’t want him 100%; I could only get him killed, if only I’m a human I don’t have to worry this anymore.
“I’m sorry,” I said.
“It’s okay. I understand, I push you to the limit, I’m sorry too.”
As we walk on into the woods, his arm is wrapped on my waist. It feels so good to know that someone love but the painful side is that he doesn’t know the real me, what if he will know everything? I’m sure he would run away from me and wish he would not ever met me or even seen me. I don’t want him to get scared and I don’t want him either to avoid me.
After a few minutes of walk, I see a small cabin, “is that your cabin?”
“Yes,” he response.
We get inside the cabin and the moment I step inside, I can see a lot of pictures of me. Why the heck he has a picture of me? Everywhere I turn around all I can see is my picture.
“Can you explain this to me?” My admiration to him is suddenly gone.
He pulls me and touches my face to calm down, “that is why we are here. I want you to know everything.”
He walks around the room and get of some pictures of me. “I know what you are,” he pauses for a while. “You are a vampire, a blood sucking creature a demonic creature, but yet vampires are the most beautiful creature in the world.”
My heart beats so fast, like a drumbeat that would not stop. I want him to shut up. I
