his five friends standing over him.
“Good morning!” he moaned.
His friends smiled mischievously.
“What did you boys do?” he asked suspiciously.
“Highness might look in mirror!” Methuen answered.
Collin sat up and ran to his bathroom, there he saw himself, his hair was a bright green. Collin yelled. Katalia was not going to like this!
“What did you guys do to me!” He exclaimed, turning to his friends, with a fierce expression.
“We thought you needed something to laugh at. So... it was James idea!” Nathentex said pointing to Collin’s soon to be brother-in-law.
“Please tell me this will wash out before the wedding?”
“Maybe!” Jolent said hesitantly.
Collin glared at him, James interpreted that to mean, “It better or I am going to kill you!”
“What, it’s one of Methuen's’ spells!” defended James.
“What?!” said Collin, his heart sinking even lower.
“No worry, I fix!” Methuen said, smiling and showing all of his teeth.
The magician waved his hands, and Collin’s hair turned to a cobalt blue.
Collin put his face in his hands.
“Why? Why did you do this to me on my wedding day? Why?” he asked.
“Well, Methuen did say that it would come out.” said Jolent, pulling Collin’s hair, as if he were trying to fix it.
“And you believed him?” asked Collin.
“Well, yes.” said Nathentex.
“Thanks.” said Collin. “Could you please try it again Methuen?”
“I try.” said Methuen, and he blasted Collin across the room.
Collin got up, and his friends groaned. He walked over to the mirror, and saw something worse than blue hair.
His hair was sticking straight up, and it was hot pink.
“Okay, that’s it. I am going to see the castle hair cutter. He will know what to do.”
And with that, Collin opened the door, and stepped out. He closed it behind him.
“Methuen!” exclaimed Drake. “You told us that it would be able to come out.”
“It is, I just don’t know how.” said Methuen.
“You could have told us that.”said James, shaking his head.

Megdelia was walking down the hallway with her friends. They were going to get dressed in their new gowns.
She turned a corner, and Aralina yelped. Collin was walking down the hallway, in his pajamas, with hot pink spiky hair.
He jumped when he saw them, then grimaced.
“It’s horrible, isn’t it?” he said.
“What happened to you?” asked Kaliea.
“The boys decided to play a trick on me. Where is the hairdresser for the palace?” he asked.
“On the third floor. Second hallway, fifth door.” said Simolia.
“Thanks.” said Collin, and he hurried off.
As soon as he was out of earshot the girls laughed hard and loud.
“That was priceless. Poor Collin!” Megdelia said in between laughs.
The girls agreed then kept on heading toward the way of Kaliea’s room.

Finally, everyone was ready. They had now mastered the art of walking in high heels.
Soon one of the maids came and told them it was time for the wedding.
The girls looked at each other and smiled at each other.
“You guys ready?” Megdelia asked the others nodded their smiles widened and left the room.

Collin’s fingers fumbled on his last button. He was getting married and it was the most terrifying thing that had ever happened to him, including almost getting killed by a monster.
He looked at his apologetic friends and smiled, thankful that the hairdresser was able to dye his hair back to normal. There was one tiny spot of pale pinkish brown in the back, but he didn’t mind that. No one would notice unless they looked for it.
“You ready, Collin.” James asked.
Collin nodded, “Yes.”
Patting him on the back, the group of men then headed for the door.

The wedding was beautiful. Megdelia, Kaliea, Aralina, and Simolia were the bridesmaids. The queen, of course, was the lady of honor. James was the best man.
Aralina was the first to walk in after the flower girls. When she got to the end of the long aisle, she stood to the side and watched everything.
There were flowers everywhere. The king and queen decided that they wanted the two young people to get married in the greenhouse. It was a good thing that the greenhouse was huge, and clean.
The other girls were shining when they walked down the aisle. The flower girls had done a lovely job of spreading the flower petals all over the ground.
Collin looked happy. James stood next to him, along with Drake, who looked very good in his new special clothes. James was wearing dark purple. Drake was wearing dark blue. Collin was wearing silver and turquoise.
Katalia came in with King Minas, who was very excited. He was wearing his most royal clothes. They were dark purple, and the queen was also wearing dark purple.
Kat was wearing a long ball gown, with a slight train. The skirt had two layers. The first layer was a silvery white, with gold sparkles. Near the bottom, before the long hem puffed out, the skirt was decorated with a golden ribbon, with white flowers on it. The second layer of the skirt looked more like a cloak for the skirt. It was light purple, and it was tucked up, making the skirt even bigger.
The top of the dress was light purple. The waist was thin, and it was embroidered with golden thread. The sleeves were the same silvery white as in the skirt, and they were slightly puffy. Underneath the white, there was more purple, covering up to halfway to Katalia’s elbows. The neckline was slightly square, and it was embroidered with gold thread. In the middle was a white flower.
Kat was wearing a choker necklace, that had a purple strap, and a lilac colored jewel hanging from it. Her hair was pulled up into a big bun at the top of her head. (Methuen did some magic with her hair, making it grow back to its original length.) There were a couple of strands that wouldn’t stay up in her hair, so the royal hairdresser had curled the strands, so that they fell around her face. She no longer had bangs.
“So you finally decided to marry me after all.” Collin whispered in his bride’s ear.
Katalia smiled, “I could say the same to you!”
As they finished their wedding vows they stood and faced the audience. Katalia reached for her friend’s hands and Collin reached for the boys. They linked and then turned to face the audience.
“This isn’t just the marriage of my daughter and my new son, but also the beginning of the Order of the Protection of Fantalasia. If any one in this room needs help of any kind, call on them and they will most assuredly answer.”
Embarrassed just a tad, the group smiled. As the first couple led the way down the aisle. The whole green house erupted in applause.
“You ready for a new adventure Kat?” Collin questioned as he led her down the aisle. She smiled at him, “Well things certainly would be boring without one right?”
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that.” He said as he rubbed the back of his head. Kat noticed some pink spots and gave him a quizzical look.
“I’ll tell you later.” he mumbled.
Kat suppressed a laugh, “You better mister. Or I will use my magic and torture it out of you.”
“I thought you didn’t have any more of Darius's magic still in you?”
Kat smiled at him mischievously, “You wanna bet!”

A week had passed since that happy day. And every ones lives went back to normal, mostly. Hossily left with Nathentex and Jolent to the closest elven district. Where they would live so that they could be close to everyone.
Drake and James went back to their royal studies. Which now had a new meaning since they were now a part of the OPF.
Simolia kept to her duties around the palace. Kaliea kept busy replacing clothes and uniforms. Megdelia was still known as the fastest fairy, and she was now not only keeping her mail carrier job, but was spending a lot of time with her new family. Aralina had left to take care of her mom and now she was back and the head helper to Octavious. Katalia and Collin were on their honeymoon. Collin was still trying to get the pink specks out of his hair.
Methuen was still, well Methuen, but he was no longer just in his cave ,he was all over the place helping and making messes that the others most likely had to clean up.
But that is what being a team was for. Helping each other.
Kat and Collin kept in touch, and all the adolescents got a very surprising note. It said,
Dear fellow members of the Order of the Protection of Fantalasia,
Collin and I are quite well, and we are having a wonderful time. We will be home quite soon, but we have a couple of meetings with the kings and queens of the neighboring provinces from where we are.
But of course, that is not the news that is so exciting. Collin has found his power! We found that he is very persuasive. It happened when we were in a meeting with one of the kings and queens. He tried to fix it, to make the king take back his word, but the king was set on giving us enough money to help our people for about a hundred years! Isn’t that exciting?
Forgive me for this short letter, but Collin is calling me to go to the castle village with him. I love going there, and seeing the people who don’t need to have any cares about kings and queens. I love the simplicity of the villages. I must go now, and I will see you soon.
With love forever,
Katalia
The group closed their letter with a smile on each of their faces. They couldn’t wait to see them again. The group assembled a couple days later, to wait for their arrival. They all stood where their adventure had all started. The library. Soon they heard the trumpet blowing signaling the couple’s arrival. The whole group perked up and ran as fast as they could to the entrance of the castle.
The group was met with the happy smiles of Collin and Katalia. As they all received hugs and handshakes and laughter.
“We really missed you guys!” Aralina said hugging Katalia tight.
Katalia smiled, and she looked very happy and rosy.
Collin too looked very happy, but it looked as if something was bothering him.
“What is it Collin?” Methuen asked.
Collin looked around to see if anyone else besides the OPF was around to his friends.
“Let’s go to the library. I or that is we have something to tell you guys about apart of our honeymoon.”
“Let’s us go. Quickly.” James persisted.
Everyone glanced at Katalia, who was still smiling. She nodded, then said hello to her mother and father.
They walked into the castle. As soon as they had gotten inside, Katalia’s smile disappeared, and she and Collin ran for the library, with their friends right after them.
