I wanted her to, making my being even harder.

Next moment, I was already inside her while Summer screamed out in the utmost pain which turned into a lot of moans afterwards as I started to move inside her slowly only to grow my thirst even more than before causing me to turn into a beast, indeed.

Episode 33

Summer's P.O.V

The night was the darkest. There were no stars and no moon to bless us with their shimmering lights like every other night. As the night sky was invaded by the massive cloud which appeared just like the shadow of my doom.

I was running like crazy with all my might when there were no lights to show me my way back.

The trees were everywhere around me while the roots were all scattered on the ground making it much difficult for me to run without tripping and falling hard again and again. The wood was dense and the dark night made that place even more horrifying.

Still, I kept running with no intention to stop until I reach my pack, the Lunar High Pack. I had no time to breathe, neither did I have any time to think properly about what could have happened during my absence which resulted in such an end?

That night I ran the fastest I could, still, it was like my speed was not enough, as nothing was enabling me to reach to my pack as soon as possible.

Indeed I came far this time, which I should not have. I should have never ignored dad's words. Only if I had listened to him then we might not have to see this day, ever.

Why did I choose not to listen to my dad?

Why did I have to prove myself that I am the rightful next in line alpha of the Lunar High Pack even when I am a girl?

Why did I have to establish the fact that I could be strong too to protect my pack from the intruders all on my own at such a young age just like a true alpha?

Why? Why did I not think even for twice that my one such decision could turn into the very reason for the great disaster of our pack and we have to lose something huge over just one night? And for me, the loss could even become eternal.

I just kept moving through the woods only to come to the deserted streets of our town by now after running for such a long time. But still, I had left an even longer distance to cover to get to my pack as soon as I could.

And for what sin I had to pay like this way, by losing the dearest ones?

Only because I got the news about a rogue who was trespassing our territory and I just wanted to catch that one so that we could confront? Only because I wanted to see the pride in my dad's eyes for me? Only because I wanted my mom to be relieved thinking that her little girl had already grown up to be the strongest and the rightful alpha of their pack?

Yes,

I wanted all that.

That was why, as soon as I heard about some rogue roaming in our area, I rushed to catch him even before my mom and dad could know about the presence of such tress passer.

But strangely, I found no one, no matter how much I tried to look for him. I did keep all my wolf senses at the peak just as I was trained by my dad, the alpha, about how to hunt or how to protect, but nothing came to me. Still, I stayed inside the wood for long and kept searching for just one single trace of anything that might seem not normal to me. But, all my attempts were proved to be for nothing.

I could not get to catch the rogue but I did get a message from uncle Benjamin, which completely snatched away the earth from beneath.

The sudden enormous shock did not allow me to move for some moment as I found myself fixed at the same spot but just when I realised what just happened I moved my legs to run as fast as I could with no intention to stop.

Yes, I got a message from my uncle Benjamin that my mom and dad were killed by the rogues tonight.

Even though I heard him very clearly, but still my heart wanted to believe that it was just a misunderstanding...that I might have misheard or if nothing among those, then it must be one of my uncle's attempts to make me realise the risk of my irresponsible behaviour as such. My heart wanted to believe that it must be a lesson for me like before, and everything was okay at the pack and so was mom and dad.

But my oblivion shattered ever so cruelly when I reached the packhouse. I saw that everyone was gathered up at the pack yard forming a crowd in front of something which I just could not see yet.

So, I pushed myself in through the crowd, shoving the people aside only to reach the front.

At that moment, when I got to see what exactly was the reason for such a crowd, the ground started to tremble viciously, and so did my whole body.

I just could not feel my legs anymore and fell down on the ground but I could not move my gaze from what was lying in front of my eyes.

Two bodies.

Yes, I saw two bodies which once belonged to those whom I loved the most in my life.

And they were all covered in blood. Few places on their bodies were also ripped brutally, leaving the place open enough to even see the bones. As if someone had vented out a tremendous amount of anger on them
