And just when I was about to reply to his sudden declaration, my phone started ringing loudly.

“Let me pick up the call at least.” I had to ask him as he showed no sign at all to lose his hold on me even when he knew that I must pick up the phone.

And only after the great Kazan allowed me to move a bit, I received the call, at last, seeing that it was Kaith. And I had some unfinished business with him for no doubt.

“What?” I had no intention to greet him a good morning cause I already knew that it would not be and I would make sure of that. A lot of beatings he was yet to receive.

“Alpha Benjamin wants to see you. He asked me to inform you that.” Kaith said from the other end of the call, and he sounded very serious. Whatever he just informed, I had never expected to hear, not even for once.

And that was why it started to bother me even more.

I just could not figure out what did I do this time to be called by my uncle, Alpha Benjamin, like this way after so long. Yes, probably after years.

“Why suddenly?” That was all I could ask Kaith for the time being as my mind had already started to entangle with various kind of thoughts and possibilities.

And I had no reason to lie.

“Alpha wants to see me.” I said.

But I did not know what happened next or what wrong did I say, as Kazan get out of the bed in an instant hurriedly.

“Summer! I need to go now. But listen to me carefully. Either you come to live with me at my pack or I am coming to yours. Do you get that? We are staying together no matter what.” He said while he went on with dressing himself back with all those clothes which he took off yesterday carelessly.

“Where are you going?” I asked, seeing him in such a rush for no reason at all, while it should be me who must hurry cause I needed to talk to uncle Benjamin before going to school and also without being late.

“Back to my pack. I've some business to do.” With that, Kazan came to me and kissed my lips just before he went out of the room, rushing.

I sighed, seeing my unfortunate past life starting to get messed up already from now on.

I got out of the bed and went straight to the bathroom to get ready to start the day. But little did I know that everything was going to change from today, letting me either fall deeper or get free from my cursed fate at last.

Well, when I went to see my uncle at his office at the packhouse, the first thing he said, was,

I was completely stunned as it was the last thing I had expected my uncle to be worried about.

“What?” I enquired as I wanted to ensure if he had asked the very same thing what I was assuming.

“You found your mate, didn't you?” Uncle asked me, without bothering to look up as I kept standing in front of his desk without a single clue about what was happening here and why.

“Yes. But how did you know?” I asked him again and this time he stopped whatever he was doing till now and looked at me at last. Uncle's face was still the same as before. Unreadable.

“Do you know that I could get each and every detailed information about whoever is coming and staying at our pack who does not even belong from our Lunar High Pack? And especially when that person is an Alpha of some other pack which is not at all our friend but a rival could it be.” Whatever uncle said, shook me completely.

I was forced to rethink if it was me or uncle Benjamin who was doing some kind of mistakes at somewhere about all this information.

I knew very well that as an Alpha, uncle was definitely able to know which outsider was passing through our pack or not. But except that whatever he just said, kept bothering me for no reason.
