trip to Carowinds

This happened to me five years ago, when I was working in Ahmedabad. At that time I lived with friends in a dormitory. My family lived in a Village called “Adariyana”. It is about 150 Km from Ahmedabad. Since I was living in Ahmedabad I often went to my village during weekends as well as other holidays. This surreal experience happened to me five years ago during the Diwali festival.

Feel The Impulse is a collection of eleven poems by an upcoming author. Poems, written with different perspectives, gives an insight into lives of different people. The author while trying to convey a message, also asks the readers different questions which keep the readers intrigued.

A poem inspired by a well appreciated song I relate to very much. The song is so powerful that it has made me shed tears like crazy and has also created this beauty.

There are legends told throughout each of the four villages about a humble man named Frederick and how he fell head over heels in love for a woman made from the sun. When she dissolved back into a ray of sunlight, Frederick's tears of grief mingled with the sunlight and formed the Glimmer Pool. As tradition, each of the four villages decided to sacrifice one child to the Glimmer Pool.
