A disaster has struck the earth. Four children remain, and they have no idea what caused everyone except themselves to perish. They must make their way in a new land where bodies are rotting, unknown dangers might lurk in the shadows, and in an existence with no parental or community guidance. But, besides themselves, someone else has survived. The question arises: Is this someone a monster, or is he to become their moral compass?

I have never considered myself a poet, but I have poetry in me that needs set free. I hope you like it and can relate to my words in some way.
